Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel, Riga

The hotel was everything you'd expect from Radisson: comfortable, in an excellent prime location facing a quiet park, but right in the very center of Riga, spacious, with great breakfast buffet, great rooms (with excellent beds!) and underground parking right in the same building - a rare thing in the historical pedestrian center of a European capital. Tea kettle and a coffee machine in the room is also a nice thing to have on a cold November day. When we first arrived, we didn't like the rooms we initially booked though (more on that below), but the reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and moved us (we had 2 rooms) to a different floor and different rooms. As a pregnant woman, I even got a park view to enjoy some fresh air as an upgrade :) What a lovely touch! Also, we were checking out at 4 am, and the reception staff packed a lovely breakfast for us to go that met all our allergy requirements. Thank you, Radisson!

Some of the rooms have really weird bathrooms: the sink is right in the middle of the room, and there is no door in the toilet and bathtub area, just a matte glass screen that offers no privacy at all. I mean... sure, a double room suggests some level of intimacy between the people who stay there, but can we have at least some privacy in the bathroom, please? What a weird design. Apart from that, everything is perfect, really. Just make sure to not book this type of a room.

Clean rooms. Standard room is quite spacious. Huge windows. Great location, close to everything. Windows towards the inner yard - silence. Friendly stuff, great tv-channel selection, green choices like a big shampoo and soap dispenser. Sauna & gym.

Poor noise isolation. If your neighbors happen to be loud you will hear everything, including very loud amplified sound coming from the wooden floor tiles. Some minor mentions: You have a small stand above the fridge for coffee and tea making but no sockets for the kettle? Instead a light switch for a bathroom? Unstable hot water in the shower. Instant coffee selection could contain 3-in-1 creamy & sweet option in addition to black coffee only. In any case my rating is 9/10 :)

Very good location, comfortable to stay at with dogs. Rooms are nice and well-decorated.

18 euros per face for breakfast is too much (luckily there's Lido downstairs in the next building). Also, not too easy to find parking around there.

This was not the first time I stayed in Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel. I have really enjoyed all my stays there. The location is the most convenient for me, as everything you need is on the hotel's door step. It only takes 15 minutes to reach the airport. The standard room is decent size and the bed is very comfortable. It is definitely worth every cent. The gym with small sauna is an added bonus. Previously, I have order breakfast to the room and the service was prompt and the food was delicious. I am definitely going to stay again. Thank you!

It is a pity that there is no mini bar in the room. If you like a refreshment or a snack, you need to order it.

Very good location, walking distance to all sightseeing sites, area seemed safe at night, plenty restaurants and bars nearby. Underground garage (we payed €13 per day). Nice design, modern, spacious rooms. Bar open till 1am.

Smell from the pipes in the bathroom. Staff were helpful and offered extra cleaning (which solved the problem) or another room, but we were also told it's a recurring problem. Bathroom door doesn't lock and is partially transparent which, especially in a twin room we booked, was somewhat awkward.

Everything was amazing. Very relaxed atmosphere. The location is amazing and the breakfast was spot on.

The first impression of the hotel was made by the personnel, which was very friendly and helpful and checked us it a bit earlier that supposed to. Regards of the room, it was always cleaned on time, had all the necessary amenities and the beds were comfy as well as the view from the room was quite beautiful, even though our room had a inside window view. Also to mention the breakfast, which had everything necessary, great coffee and a wide variety of drinks available. The staff gave some time before closing the breakfast which was a very nice touch. Overall, the hotel has left a great impression.

Is it really worth this price in such cheap country? I guess that’s up to you to answer, but the price for a hotel this level in a city like Riga, is to me definitely not worth the price.

The location was really fantastic, all the tourist attractions is just short walk away. Across the street is a really cozy park where you can go for a walk in the morning with your take away coffee directly from the breakfast (which had delicious croissants and fresh fruit). The staff was friendly and helpful, the room felt welcoming, clean and the bed was amazing. While putting my makeup on I also really appreciated the light in the bathroom.

We didn’t choose the breakfast included, because we like to sleep in haha. Tho the price per person (for one day, 20€) felt a bit pricy, I’m sure it would be cheaper if we included this into our stay from the begging but well well. We tried the breakfast and it was tasty! Would appreciate if the veg-milk would have been closer to the coffee machine.

Breakfast is a bit boring, but overall the food is good and of good quality. I really liked the spacious, good quality and quiet rooms. And of course a very great location.

I did not like that I had indicated in the order that parking would be required. Because in the description of the hotel in booking, parking is indicated as an advantage. However, no one from the hotel responded to my request. And upon arrival, it turned out that the parking lot was not the hotel's, plus it was full and we had to look for another parking lot somewhere nearby. It would be good if customers were informed about such things in advance, especially when they themselves ask about it in advance.

Very good hotel, excellent location and great customer service. The hotel is conveniently located near many of the city's top attractions, including the Old Town, Freedom Monument, and the Riga Central Market and even a LIDO close by. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the city and enjoy its rich culture and be close to night life and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, clean and had comfortable beds, blackout curtains, and soundproof windows ensured a restful night's sleep. The room amenities, including a flat-screen TV, minibar, and coffee/tea making facilities, provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Maybe the bathroom shower could use small improvements? The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable.
