Location is quiet, but still close to downtown. A walk of 10 minutes. Hotel is modern, everything works, and it is very clean.

The airco is much to cold. Outside 33, inside approx. 18! Especially with breakfast there is a need to dress warm. Although we booked throug Booking and we paid at arrival, we he'd to pay a sum of 50 RM cash as a kind of deposit. Strange and it meant an extra transaction at checking out. The elevators only work with a room key. To any floor. This is a hassle because you also need the key to have electricity in your room. Anyway at some point I was forced to take the stairs, but it turned out that I got more or less locked in the staircase, because entrance to some floors (e.g. floor P for breakfast) was locked. Unhandy but more severe: very unsafe!

This was my fourth time at the hotel during our KB visits. The staff is nice, and check-in is easy. The room is comfy, and I like the new water filter. The personal welcome card and gift are a nice touch. The café downstairs is great, and it's easy to find food nearby.

Didn't like the slightly stinky comforter and the non-working fridge in the room. Breakfast options were too few; hope they can do better.

It's a Kuala Lumpur-level hotel in Kota Bharu set at a nice location in town, but away from any particular busy location and makes for a rather quiet and pleasant stay. The room I was in faced the town and offers a nice view, particularly at sunrise. The room is well equipped. The TV is glorious and worked well. There is a coffee machine that my French colleague had nothing to complain about, and they also have a UV cleaning device for some reason. I can't comment about the food coz we didn't bother. We were in Kelantan, good food are plenty and nearby.

I find the glass-walled toilet and bath to be annoying and cramped. I shared a room with a work colleague and it was somewhat uncomfortable using the commode and showering with only the frosted glass dividing us. The pillow could also be stiffer but we slept well. Basement parking is very limited to just 10 cars maybe. Be prepared to park in an open carpark next to the building (free tho).

the toiletries provided with toothbrushes, everything. like i dont' need bring those things. the steam iron is superb. especially for woman. no need to worry to iron hijab/tudung. and less chance clothes to get burn. and room view very nice. the interior layout beautiful. the clean room services very nice and friendly.

i think the bedsheet not clean and change regularly. the tv, i can't choose the subtitle while watching the movie. the lighting layout, i have to close all the lighting. which i cannot choose the lighting to be ON because it connected with other lighting. some people might don't like glass bathroom.

During my recent visit to this hotel, I was disappointed by the state of the gym. Compared to my previous visit, the equipment was limited and the space felt cramped, leaving much to be desired.

The breakfast menu has somewhat improved! And service has gone up a notch. Thank you!

For the third (or was it the fourth?) time I was given room 1710, which has a set of connecting doors to 1709. The doors are plywood and thin and not noise insulated/proof. I could hear every single word spoken by the guests next door. Or when they snored. Or when their baby cried. Please, change the doors, or have them properly sound-proofed!

The room is great. Small but decorated and organised tastefully. Every corner was maximised. Love the toilet separated from the bathroom. You have everything needed for a traveller - iron and iron board, water dispenser, safe box, hair dryer, alarm clock double up as wireless smartphone charger, huge lcd tv screen, cabinet storage, small pantry with big kitchen sink, big wall mirrors, toiletries, toothbrush, towels, bedroom slippers.

Love the hotel so much.

Cleanliness was top notch and the staffs were very friendly and helpful! They even provide 3 bottles of mineral water, a coffee machine with 2 complementary coffee capsules and a wide range of movies to watch. WiFi, A/C and heater were functioning well too. I also like how the bidet and shower room were separated.

The washroom and shower room is not situated within a room by itself and the glass doors/walls were not up to the ceiling, so privacy is a little compromised. There was also no place to hang clothes/towels when showering.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, with fresh linens, spotless floors, and a well-maintained bathroom.

Unfortunately, the hotel only offered limited on-site parking spaces, which were quickly filled up due to high demand. As a result, I had to utilize the nearby outside parking area, which was a slight inconvenience, especially when carrying luggage or during inclement weather.
