Bayview Hotel Langkawi

Fab location, walking distance from Maha-Tower and night market, 5 mins ride to both the best shopping malls in Langkawi. Nice small shopping and eating places around including pharmacies. Hotel is pretty neat with helpful staff and food options is also good. Tried spa also for foot massage - A must recommendation after a day full of activities

My recent stay at Bayview Hotel in Langkawi was absolutely perfect! The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The room was appropriately decorated with a stunning sea view even though the decoration was not modern. The hotel's central location made exploring the island's attractions convenient. The dining experience was exceptional, with a wide range of delicious options. The staff went above and beyond to provide outstanding service throughout my stay. I highly recommend Bayview Hotel for a memorable retreat in Langkawi!

There isn't much to elaborate on. I have had good moments with family at Bayview Hotel. The only think can be hot milk that is not truly hot :-)

the hotel staff were exceptional. polite, friendly and one in particularly, Mr Ali went beyond the extra mile. the rooms were spacious and the premier rooms on the top floors with sea view certainly had amazing views of the coast. The hotel staff met your needs quickly- room service, TV glitches, extra room amenities were sorted out quickly. The staff clearly add the extra * to the hotel rating.

The exterior of the hotel looks like it has had recent renovation. however, the carpets, bathrooms and towels were not at the level of a 4* hotel. these in particular brought it down to a 3* which was a shame.

We loved the size of the room, the gym and the pool etc. It was all very clean and well kept.

Didn’t like the fact there are no water filters to refill water bottles which then means a lot of unnecessary plastic waste. Also, they are still using miniature shampoos/ shower gels so accumulating a lot of plastic waste. The breakfast was far too expensive at 40RM PP. The area is very strange, lots of closed down shops etc In the centre of Kuah, so probably wouldn’t recommend the location.

It’s clean and excellent service

We got a very pleasantly done sea view room with a magnificent vew of the bay. The room and bathrooms were big and very clean. Breakfast was not included in the booking so we ordered from the room service. Room service was always prompt and the prices were reasonable.The Menu was limited but had options for vegetarians which is good as there are not many options for vegetarians in Langkawi. Maha Menara is right across. There is a small shopping area with a lot of eateries next to the hotel. Jetty point is also not far.

Water did not drain out fully from the shower cubicle and remained collected inside the corners.

The views were great, the location was superb. The eateries were all around us but the best part was the hotel meals were not too expensive either. staff were really friendly and even gave us an upgrade since I surprised my husband for his 70th birthday to Malaysia. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking at visiting Langkawi.

Can't complain about anything really. Only drawback is it's a bit far from beaches, cable car and airport. If you need to be at the airport before 7.30 am you pay double the price for taxis and Grab( which is not much cheaper than taxis in Langkawi).

Apart from the location, this was a 5 Star experience. Friendly, welcoming staff, highest level of customer service, hygiene, and quality of the premises. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, strong wifi , great air con and an awesome view over the bay. If you are looking for duty free grog and chocolates you will love it here.

The location unfortunately was left alot to be desired, as alot of shops, eateries, plazas have been abandoned after covid. The atmosphere of the entire town was dull and non eventful.

As an older couple, staying in Kuah was a much better option for us than busy Cenang Beach. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, a night market with great satay and taxis are plentiful for travelling further afield. It was economical to hire a taxi for the day to take us to the cable car and a general tour of the island. The mangrove tour bus picked us up from the hotel for a day out in the geo park. At the end of each day it was delightful to come back to a large comfortable room, with an awesome view, excellent bathroom with bath and separate enclosed shower recess. The laundry service was first class. The buffet breakfast included some western options like cereal, scrabbled eggs, toast, pastries etc. but there was a large range of delicious local and Chinese fare. Who needs bacon and eggs when you can have nasi lemak...

The location was pretty good, with quite a few nice eateries and shops. Kuah Town is nearby, which has night markets on certain nights and a bazaar there during our stay! Breakfast options are limited but still available. There's also a swimming pool with towels provided and the gym as well. The room is very spacious. The cleaning staffs are super friendly and nice, and will replace towels / whatsoever when needed. Other staffs are generally very helpful too, would recommend the stay here.

The toilets could be better maintained, but overall nothing much that I didn't like.
