The St. Regis Langkawi

Amazing private beach, breakfast buffet, and attentiveness of staff. We got upgraded later on due to an AC problem in our initial room. Service was excellent. Loved the complimentary coffee that we can order to our room. Even though there was a wedding that weekend, the resort still felt peaceful, quiet, and not crowded. Nice walk to the neighbouring westin.

Didn’t love the afternoon tea, some items were missing from the set menu but still paid full price. Desserts were almost all mousse cakes and the savoury items were disappointing. Staff never checked on us to refill drinks either. We stayed in a rather dusty room at first (carpet and sofa needed cleaning).

I like the landscape and design. Breakfast was great but we dont eat that much for breakfast. It is great when they offered free ironing service but i didnt ask for it as my clothes not crumble. Heard they have few activities for the kids, but didnt tell us in details.

I saw my friend birthday decoration with rose petals at four season hotel langkawi was great and it is coplimentary while st regis chargeable with high price. i stayed at Mandarin Oriental few months ago, they even gave free slices of cake with chocolate written on the plate also for free.

The environment,view and the facilities

Actually there is a problem with room AC been inform to staff more than 3times and still cannot be resolve. After a few hours they decided to give 2 rooms for us since there is a problem. Its very not convenient because i got kids and have to repack my luggage at night. They provide new rooms that is not so near. Also ask for our anniversary decorations by emails a few days before arrival also not been done by them. So disappointed with this,not a good experience for us. This is not supposed to happen since the hotel is high rank hotel.

Huge mention to the staff, especially Belle and the bar staff. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and really make you feel welcome. Hotel itself is lovely, great pool, private beach, balcony on the room, butler service, free clothes pressing and more. Had a few great dinners at the hotel too, and breakfast was a real delight each morning (especially the Mimosa bar!)

No complaints, though the odd spot is needing a little lick of paint, perhaps a refurb may be required in a few years time. One thing to note: though this isn’t the hotels problem as such, we were only able to dip into the sea for two short periods during our four night stay, red flags were up due to jellyfish. The pool is great, so didn’t feel like we missed out, but it’s something to consider depending on the time of year you visit.

Amazing hotel, amazing service. Wonderful breakfast, variety of choice, you can order almost everything. Restaurants in the hotel are a bit pricey, but you got what you expect for this money. Pools, both public and private were excellent and clean. Arranged car rental and some excursions through concierge service, all went very well. Separately wanted to say that hotel staff are doing great job, everybody. Many thanks, it was great time. Want to return sometimes.

We were unfortunate to see the ocean a bit muddy, but that's probably because of the season. Had to use pool all time.

The private beach just for the guests usage. Great rooms facing the andaman sea. Butler service was exceptionally good! Special shoutout to Jazlee, Haikal for supporting our stay there and making us feel at home. Banquet staff during breakfast service are super attentive to our needs as well as the kids. Thanks to Hafiz & Famezy, you guys are doing so so good. Checking in and out with Kira was a breeze as well. Super friendly and informative about where we can head for the days.. Concierge staff really took great care of us during our stay...thank you for being there, shielding us from rain and shine to our car!

We travelled with young kids yes we understand we didn't look like the normal rich guests that the hotel staff is used to. A personnel approached me as I was seated at the corner of the lobby waiting for the rest of my family to come down to head to the pool and asked if I was there to fetch a guest. She did appear to follow us towards the garden area near the pool as if she didn't trust us to be guests there? I understand the need for security but I felt that we were judged just because we didn't look like we belonged.

Great service, butler, private beach, breakfast, nice room with good views

We signed up for a 1.5 hour sunset cruise with the hotel, that was operated by a third party. Turned to be a poor experience. There wasn’t any much cruising, simply going very slowly in circles around a small breakwater and they were blasting loud Hindi music throughout; a total departure from what one would expect of a St. Regis experience. Including the 45 min travel each direction, we wasted 4 hours of our lives and 600RM… Beach had a lot of flies particularly during the low tide.

The staff was so kind with us and always willing to help us with any thing we needed. The suite was gorgeous, we had our private pool and our garden and it had a beautiful view to the ocean. Super clean, kind staff, good housekeeping, and the food was good quality.. In general, a very respectful resort with good security and kind people who are always willing and ready to help. St. Regis Langkawi will definitely be on our top list in the future.Thank you for our pleasant stay.
