Quinta Real Aguascalientes

Absolutely a well deserved 5 Star Prorperty and Staff. "Well oiled" = coordinated Staff that exceeded our expectations in everything we asked for. Those reading this must take into account - AGS just opened up in Green Status for CV-19 so it's no easy task gearing back up staff and making a top notch experience for travelers. So, cudos to the Managment too. We particularly liked Aldo Jimenez and Christina on the front desk - assisting us with tour, taxi's etc. to make our stay very enjoyable. And, I loved the elderly waiter in the Dinning room. Sorry, I forgot his name. But he fits in 100% with the ambiance that Camino Real is trying to portray with this Hotel that takes you back to the 1700-1800's in Spain. I mean you've spent millions building this Hotel - and making it so "Guests" are 100% totally emerged in Old Spain. Then this waiter completes the experience. Elderly, Proud - like the Spanish - Reserved like the Staff in fine Hotels in Spain a little bit "portly" like the Spanish - hard not to be with their Great Spanish Food laden with with grease for those special flavors. The Chef is a little bit, let's say stubborn but GREAT! My wife one morning ordered 1 egg only scrambled and she got like about 4! Ah, but that Chicken Breasts in Guayaba Mole, was way over the top, alone enough to make you want to return to this Hotel. I don't fault the Chef for his stubborness - I once when young was a Chef - and the Great one's are that way. Guests (I do) should expect that from a Top Chef! That's they way they role!! So NO points deducted for the Chef. He when partnered with the older waiter - just completed the experience as a past Chef, I would expect in a 5 Star Hotel!

My wife is correct. It seems like the pool area was added later, not part of original Hotel? Seems a little disjointed from Hotels Architecurtral Motif? Need to put a chrome railing down the steps for elderly, who are not so mobile - to feel like they can enter the pool too. Not expensive additions, but should be made. Next, afterthought is O.K. but add some more Old Spanish Masonry/motifs left and right of Gym to complete the Ambiance. My take not too much - just some more. Hey that would bring it up to a 110% experience for guests!

Excellent stay. The hotel is calm and service very friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was large and it was like staying at an old relatives house. Everything very comfortable. The pool was nice to relax near and the gym was well equipped and had a great view of the gardens.

I wish I had stayed longer

We enjoyed our stay in Quinta Real very much. It is a hotel with a great atmosphere and style. Nice, quiet and well equipped rooms. We liked the great breakfast and were very pleased about the kind and attentive staff. Thanks so much !

Some smaller things should be repaired and better maintained as the water taps in the shower which felt off or the balcony door which cannot be closed.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The old architecture, well kept grounds, and décor of the hotel made for a unique experience. The restaurant was also great. We ate dinner and breakfast there.

People and food very good

My family couldn’t stay there after having a reservation had to canceled due to a very dirty room they were not offered an alternative

The location is amazing, the whole architecture is so beautiful, the staff is super friendly and always willing to help.

The pool was not completely clean. Seems like it not maintained in a regular basis. The restaurant was nice but there were too many mosquitoes.

Breakfast buffet had enough options, adequeate. Facilities are beautiful: rooms are well decorated and the inside of the hotel is very silent despite the location (thumbs up for this one). Staff is super nice.
