Hotel Indigo Guadalajara Expo, an IHG Hotel

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Food was also good.

We requested a band aid and we were informed that the first aid kit was out of band aids 😰

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. All staff was very friendly and always helpful, for example when we needed additional items. This hotel has nice modern rooms that are mostly located around a covered courtyard, which also serves as breakfast and restaurant area. The breakfast has a nice variety with cold and warm options, where the warm meals change on a daily basis.

As the rooms are around the courtyard where the restaurant area is, especially on the lower floors sometimes some food smell can enter the rooms. It happen occasionally and wasn't very strong but for sensitive noses a room on the higher floors might be advisable.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the large tub bath. It was a great way to relax after a long day exploring Guadalajara. The staff was super helpful. The breakfast was delicious and a great convenience.

I was a bit confused when reserving the room. I thought I was reserving the modern beautiful room in all the pictures with the bathtub but turns out a paid a little extra to have the suite with the kitchen. I had to pay even more extra (about 120 USD extra) to have the nicer room. The staff was able to make that change for us and I am very thankful. The nicer room made our trip even more enjoyable.

Amazin hotel for the price. Everything is beautiful and very helpful staff. Loved the whole experience.

The only bad thing I can say is that the area is not very nice. There are not many restaurants around in a walking distance as other hotels I have stayed in GDL. You would have to take a cab or Uber to go around.

luggage trolly didn’t fit into the back elevator- minor inconvenience difficult to control the temperature of the shower water - went from hot to very hot.

Location, cleanliness, and value were excellent. I'd definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly.

The rooftop bar closed at 11:30 on a Saturday night - a little early. I arrived at 11:33 and was not allowed to purchased a drink because they were closed, even though there were plenty of patrons in the room (none of them appeared to be hotel guests). I even asked if I could purchase it and take it back to my room but was denied. This was disappointing but can be overlooked given that everything else was excellent.

Beautiful hotel, it was exactly as expected. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family of four. The location is great for getting a cab/uber right out front. The hotel and restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. The room service was really good and they accommodated us pretty close to closing. The included breakfast every morning was so nice, we liked that the hours were from 7AM-11AM, gave us plenty of time to wake up and get ready to go down before getting our day started.

We didn't get our two complimentary Nespresso cups each day and we had to ask for more toilet paper. The beds and pillows were very comfortable but one of the beds squeaked every time you shifted your weight.

The hotel was perfect! It was clean and pretty inside. The staff was excellent and Javier and Guillermo made sure we had everything and gave us great advice on restaurants. The guy in the reception area ( didn’t get his name but the receipt says Mara) was very helpful when we arrived and was able to get us one of the four rooms we reserved since we arrived early. The reservations came with free americano breakfast. There is also a supermarket about 1-2 blocks away if you needed to get any drinks or water. I would stay here again.

Nice place, great service, room service was good too. The bed and the facilities are perfect. Good value for the price, i definitely recommend to stay at IHG.

Noisy, especially because they have a rooftop with bad music selection going on till late.
