Hotel Casa San Pancho

The Casa San Pancho Hotel was wonderful, beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious every morning. But the "above and beyond" award goes to the staff at Casa San Pancho! Patricia, Rebecca and Marlin spoiled us with the service, friendliness and attention to detail. We watched the NFL football playoffs on Sunday and Patricia was a phenomenal hostess, bringing drinks and helping us with the TV. Marlin and Rebecca were equally as pleasant in the mornings and Marlin assisted us with various logistics as her Spanish was a bit better than ours! We cannot thank the entire staff at Casa San Pancho more for a most memorable visit. We will return!

Nothing. Casa San Pancho Hotel is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing hotels we have ever visited.

When we arrived before check in time the front desk person checked and found out our room was ready so we could check in right away which was really nice! All interactions with the staff there were great and they were all very friendly. We enjoyed the included daily breakfasts but it can be a very busy time so patience is required.

For some reason Booking.com didn’t give the hotel notice we are part of the Genius program and got a discount so the hotel didn’t have the same discount information to charge the correct amount. Just be sure to double check the amount when paying at the hotel so there is no confusion.

Overall great experience. My room was quiet, very confortable although very simple. The hotel is lovely with beautiful colonial Mexican furnitures and architecture. Well located easily walking distance of everything, yet remote enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Breakfasts are very good to.

The pool and pool area are little to small for the size of the hotel with only 2 long chairs and no other other space to seat around the pool. As an early bird, I would appreciated to be able to have coffee before 8am, a coffee machine in the room would be easy. A fridge in the room would be a great add on.

The staff is everything!!!! The sweetest and most helpful people! I got sick on my last night and they made me tea :) The breakfast was incredible every day! And different each of the 3 days we were there. The pool was extremely clean and we took advantage of it multiple days/nights. It was a short walk to town and the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. Also, there’s tiny cracks near the window and doors so a couple of the little lizards got in, which freaked me out but not a huge deal.

Friendly, helpful staff; secluded location near the action but far enough away to feel private; tasty homemade breakfast; beach umbrellas available to borrow; curious resident iguana; responsive housekeeping; well-maintained pool; excellent air conditioning; no TV in room

Toilet walls and door do not extend to ceiling, so travelers who don't know each other very well may feel self-conscious; some guests might prefer to have an in-room TV; in-room fridge would have been a nice touch

Staff was so friendly and helpful. The space was beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed being further from both the road and beach noise. Space was tranquil and relaxing

No fridge in room, but we knew that ahead of time. (Would have been nice to keep water cold.) Also, bathroom is essentially part of the room with "stalls" for shower and toilet. Only a problem at night when one person has to turn on the light to use the toilet at night. But these were minor issues. Overall place was amazing.

- Beautiful setting for the hotel, we loved the mini pool! - Full breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice! - Very accommodating staff: we only stayed for one night and were leased an umbrella for the beach and a place to put our belongings before our departure.

- A little far from the beach - Although the hotel's guidelines are clear about keeping quiet and the like, the way the rooms are made and the surroundings make it more difficult for the location to be truly calming during the night. (Not really their fault.)

The staff was amazing!! We will never forget the kindness of Patricia (Rosales) and Marlyn (Flores). They were without a doubt a breath of fresh air each and every day!! The breakfast was also wonderful and delicious! The kitchen staff was friendly, with a smile every morning, and accommodated our unique requests. Thank you so very much. The ambiance at Hotel San Pancho is second to none, as soon as you walk in, you start to relax! It was so clean and comfortable, the community areas like the seating area, dining area, and pool were all very welcoming. The location is quiet yet convenient to get to town and the beach.

Our room was only cleaned one day, it was no big deal and we didn't say anything to the hotel about it because it didn't matter much to us.

The homemade breakfast here beats any other place I’ve stayed. Especially the touristy resorts. Yuck. This place is like a bed and breakfast with great food, and I loved the eating area. Could sit there for hours and read and write. The room was also comfortable and clean, and the AC worked well. I loved Patricia at the font desk, so helpful and friendly, really went out of her way to show me where nice beaches were.

Since I’m traveling alone they gave me a small room, that didn’t have room for my yoga mat. There were a lot of larger rooms empty and available.
