I loved the location! Perfect walking distance to so many restaurants and stores. Not too far away from the beach either! The staff was so nice and accommodating. The power went out where my parents were staying after a hurricane and they managed two rooms for them and their friends! AC seriously worked SO WELL!

The burger bar downstairs seems like a sad dead resturaunt. Idk if it’s connected to the hotel but someone needs to do something more with that space.

The rooftop pool and bar made this location wonderful for us! We enjoyed coffee by the pool at 7:00 am and all day long, until 10:00 pm.
Very noisy late into the night from surrounding bars, even though we had a garden facing room. Then construction ALL day right below the pool and our room forced us to find somewhere is to hang out on Thursday, our last day. We also paid a premium price to stay just before Christmas. And our room had NO bureau and no drawers anywhere. Had to live out of our suitcase.

The staff was very nice and helpful. In general, the hotel is clean (or at least appears that way - everyone we talked to had gotten sick, so whether that was from the ocean, restaurants, or just norovirus on everyone and everything - we're not sure) and the rooftop pool is nice with great loungers (go up early to snag one for the day) and you can order food from nearby restaurants and have it brought to you. Also nice to have a bar at the pool.
First room they gave us was not what we booked and was right on the first floor where everyone walks past and we woke up the next morning to a girl puking in the room over - we could hear everything. (thankfully they moved us for the remainder of the trip - hotel staff is very kind). Hotel is surrounded by clubs and loud music that goes all through the night. The bass vibrates the hotel - so even the earplugs are not enough to drown out the noise or vibrations. Like SO loud. It really ruined the vibe for us. We spent most of our time at the pool because both me and my friend got montezumas revenge. And everyone we talked to got sick or was also buying pedialite and saltine crackers at the store. So either things aren't as clean as they appear - or Sayulita needs to issue a public health warning. The biggest disappointment for us with Sayulinda hotel was the noise levels.
