Good location: not on the beach but close to ferry, tours and restaurantes. Very nice hotel with a beaufiful garden, small pool and kitchen. It was more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel, but the manager was very nice and available when we needed/asked. They reccomended a very nice diving company.
Information given about some tours and transportation on the island was not very accurate (this seems to be a general feature of the island, not just this hotel.)

Rosalba who was our host and the owner of the house is the cutest woman ever. She is really caring and made sure our stay was comfortable. We appreciated the big room with a king size bed and a comfortable mattress, the cleanliness of the place, how cozy the whole house looks, and how central (yet away from main busy street) it was. I would totally recommend staying there.
Nothing to complain about, just note that they don’t automatically do the cleaning every day, so if you want it, ask for it.

Amazing experience at Xiknal. This new hotel is owned by a lovely couple who are really friendly and helpful. We were able to check in way before check in time. The rooms were brand new, super clean and spacious. Also the location is perfect, within walking distance of the ferry (even with bags) and close to many diving schools. I would recommend this place for 100%

We had an amazing stay at Xiknal. The small boutique hotel is extremely well maintained and each room has beautiful interior design. Everything is new and super clean. We would always come back and stay here. The owner is extremely nice and helped us to rent a car and find a nice New Years party. Muchísimas gracias por su excelente atención.
