Everything about this quirkily wonderful hotel is just so right. After a problem with the hotel.our band of 8 musicians thought they were booked into but weren't, I found this online and the staff are just the best we have come across. Our musicians have toured the world for many years and they rate this as one of the best they have ever stayed in. Big shout out to Lucy and staff for their care, support and general lovlieness. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Everything was very comfortable, and the hotel itself was a fascinating museum of antiques! Our room was very roomy, and although the shower was different from what we're used to, it ended up working just great.

There was a point in the evening, around 11-12, where there was a pounding that sounded like construction. It may have been another guest, but it went on for quite a while. It didn't bother us too much, as we were able to turn on white noise, but if we didn't have that it may have been an issue.

The hotel is the place to stay and at the same time one of the sightseeings. The collection of antique items makes your stay fascinating. The staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Good breakfast, you won’t be hungry for sure. Special thank to the owner for accommodating a lot of Ukrainians and giving them the possibility yo work.

It would be recommended to give 2 towels per person. One is not enough

The hotel was full of fascinating historical items, like staying in a museum rather than a hotel, so very interesting. There were also a couple of emus outside for extra interest. The room was huge (we actually had 4 single beds in a twin-room).

The toilet roll system in the bathroom was extremely hard to get a new toilet roll to appear; I understand they want to save paper, but making it too hard to use is too hard.

the breakfast was simple but fresh and tasted really good. The room is big and bed had even electrical positioning options and was very comfortable, the bathroom was massive. there werent any sort of bugs or mosquitos although the room was surrounded with garden

A sign on the road to help show exactly where the entrance is , would be quite helpful also the address needs to be updated because it leads you a couple of streets after where the hotel actually isa

The hotel is in a great location, there is a bus stop nearby so you can reach Amsterdam centre in 40 min by bus. The hotel is itself almost like a museum with lota of retro objects. The staff is kind and are willing to help.

Some people might find the smell of vintage objects or dust allergic. There are also mosquitoes.

Good staff. Bed was good. Shower nice and hot. Breakfast simple, but sufficient. Excellent service: When I asked for some sandwiches to take with me for lunch, the staff happily provided another omelet and materials to pack my lunch. Well done!

The room wasn't really warm. I talked about it and it learned that the heating in the floor could be turned higher. I did, but no real result. That was a small minus.

Amazing place, brilliant people, great design and ideas, well recommended. 1 kilometer away the oldest wooden houses in Netherlands

City and people are amazing. If you have a chance don't waste your time just visit this beautiful country ❤️

Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Interior design is more like a museum and comfort is acceptable. Sufficient choice during breakfast but basic. No hassle and straight forward.

It is slightly out of the way if you need to be in Zaandam, Amsterdam. The breakfast could be more tasty, but is of excellent value.

Room: very spacious but outdated Breakfast: good, enough to choose from Bed: very comfy General accommodation: Every corner is a new discovery, a lot of things to see, you can tell the owner has a crush on Lara Croft, hahahaha.

Two single beds, the room had a bathroom for disabled people, which resulted in a very high toilet seat and an open shower.
