Nice and clean room. Good location, right next to Zaanse Schans (just need to cross the river). Beautiful neighbourhood (other than the main attraction, Zaanse Schans). The location is very touristic in the morning, but becomes really quiet and peaceful in the evening, once the attractions are closed. Food options nearby. The hotel also has an in-house restaurant. Decent breakfast.

Staff are a little preoccupied because they are also working in the in-house restaurant (in a touristic area), hence service (e.g. check-in) can be a somewhat slow.

Location, location, location. 3 minute walk just over the Bridge and in to the town. 15 minute drive into Amsterdam. Restaurant and grocery store very close. Room was perfect for a healthy couple as no elevator over at out section of rooms. The master Bedroo. Was a loft with steep stairs. If you have issues with Stairs, this room should be avoided. Otherwise It waS very comfortable for our purposes

Room was not ready, due to entire cleaning staff out sick. 4 hours later, the management was still apologizing and offered us free Dinner and drinks We were pleased with the service and food.

This is a lovely location on the water opposite a pretty windmill. The hotel is modern and has a very nice restaurant with seating on the water or inside with water views. Just over the bridge is De Zaanse Schans a very picturesque traditional village with working windmills and museums.

For the price and given the overall positive impression of the hotel, I was surprised to find several maintenance problems in the room. 1 - The bedside lamp was broken and hanging over on its side. 2 - The curtains were hanging down, 3 - Very few channels (no English news channels) which would be okay except that many showed up in the guide but were not available which was frustrating. 4 - coffee machine did not work. This all left the impression that the restaurant was the main focus and the hotel aspect was a sideline.

The location! Located right across from Zaanse Schans, the view is magical and convenient for walking. We loved watching the river and boats go by with the windmills in the background. The rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was included and had an array of delicious choices, and plenty of seating area in the restaurant/bar area, which also views the river! Lattes and coffee made fresh by the servers who were friendly and attentive We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we come back to the area!

Very close walk to Zaanze Schans. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Nice breakfast included. Nice size room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and nicely decorated room with with nice bathroom. Very nice staff at check in and breakfast.

We were in room #1. Staff were very noisy getting in and out of a closet right outside our room, many times until about 11:30pm and started again at 7am. Even though bathroom was new and clean, it had a very musty, mildew smell. No parking, must find street parking.

Great location, wonderful place to spend a couple of days! Nice and helpful staff!

The fridge in the room is a mis-construction. There is not enough space to let the warm air out, therefore the warm air goes inside the fridge resulting in the fact, that the fridge is heating instead of cooling! The lift does not work correctly. When you wish to get out, the doors do not open! There is no-one answering the emergency button (yellow). Yelling seems to be the best option…. The breakfast is kind of an improvisation. Guests are asked to help put plates back after use. The choice for breakfast is absolutely minimal, and even so, orange juice or cheese runs out very quickly.

The location is amazing - close to Amsterdam city with train but in a lovely rural area with cows, lambs etc grazing. There's also a chocolate factory so the whole place smells of cocoa/chocolate! The view from the hotel's terrace & restaurants with windmills was simply amazing. Good Italian food served in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Nice decor in the bathroom and comfortable beds.

The bathroom had a slight smell of sewer when we arrived, luckily it went away after the first night (we stayed two). The fridge wad room temperature so didn't really work though there was a light. The breakfast didn't have a lot of options.

Enjoyed the area where the hotel was located. Parking was easy. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel was close to Zaanse Schaan. View of the river was gorgeous-we had breakfast next to the window.

Breakfast was average. Nothing special. Presentation could have been better instead of just on the baking sheet. When items emptied, it took a long time to refill. Kudos to our waitress for her service during dinner and breakfast.

Breakfast - I contacted staff few days before right after booking asking whether they will be able to accommodate vegan needs, and also one of us needed gluten free in addition. I asked it because otherwise we would just prep our own food or plan some other place for brekky. They returned to me saying that they will accommodate our wishes. Upon check-in it was confirmed. In the morning we found out that there was no GF bread (they couldn't find it in the nearby shop), and one of us didn't really have anything to eat, besides fruit... I still rate everything as perfect as staff was great and everything was super smooth, but if you promise something, please deliver!

The hotel is very chic, the part that has the restaurant inside and is by the water. The staff is very friendly, the food is tasty. We were given a room that is a bit further along the street. Clean and spacious.

The heating was AC heating, the temperature was set at max 23°C, but the room could not reach this number, as it was way too big, with huge front windows. It was only for a night, so it was ok. No extra blankets would be a minus from my point of view.
