Argent Motor Lodge

We chose Argent because it was the closest place to the hospital where I had treatment on 1 Sept. the Manager, Graeme, drove us and a mobility device, over to the hospital and dropped us off at the nearest door. What a lovely thing to do, we will definitely book ourselves in again if I need more treatment. A very comfy unit and very close to the mobility parking we needed.

Definitely no problems, we have travelled very extensively worldwide during our 58 yr marriage, stayed in amazing accommodation but all we wanted was a comfy place to relax and this place met our needs on this occasion.

The room was immaculate, it was a really nice, peaceful space. Heat pump kept it warm through the night. Kids loved the TV and the pull out couch set up as a bed. It's a great location, easy to get to and close to town. It was my husbands second time staying here, booked it again as he said it was nice, and he wasn't wrong. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

Parking was a little tight, nothing major and to be fair we have a pretty big ute. Its fantastic that they have off road parking so honestly no complaints here! Has to be the best place I have stayed at in Hamilton.

Staff were very friendly and although not advertised, staff informed that there is a guest laundry you are able to use to wash clothes. I used it after the day we visited Roturua.

Room is small. No room to eat. Although there is a kitchen, it was a bit awkward to enjoy cooked meals (breakfasts). Our room had a bed and couch with side tables. Would be nice to have a small dining table with two chairs instead of a study table. If you cook in the room you are likely to stink the room up.

Friendly helpful manager who was filling in for the owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Let us exchange rooms and went out of her way to prioritize our clean so we could get in a bit earlier. Rung us ad soon as they were ready. Also rung to ask how we wanted our rooms set up extra beds etc. We had children and they were so kind to them offering a few extra bikkies. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all the facilities you need.

Would have been nice to have a pool or spa for kids and maybe a wee playground.. not a complaint but for families this would seal the deal

The gentleman at reception was extremely helpful. Showed us to our room. Checking if we needed anything else.great custom service. The room was 💯percent clean. I couldn't find a speck of dust. Well done to their cleaners. The carpet is clean and soft to walk on. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom had good size bath and a walk in shower.no outside noise so was peaceful stay.i would absolutely be happy to stay there again

We were going to arrive late from the airport. I phoned and was given instructions of how to get into our room without contact. I was relieved as I didn’t want to inconvenience anyone. Assistant was very friendly and helpful. The room was cooled for us it was clean and the bed and sofa were very cosy. Nice modern facilities, it was nice to have tea, coffee, milk facilities.

Getting in late, there was no park available. We parked in an unmarked space and got up early to take an available space otherwise we would have blocked someone in. (Just check before arriving).We had to carry our bags upstairs as there was no lift, but we were made aware of this and had the choice to take a downstairs room. ( if available). These things would not stop me from staying there again. Just an awareness

To be honest, I was surprised at how new and clean the accommodation was at Argent. The location was good as it was close enough to the Hamilton Gardens, City Centre, restaurants (Cafe Fresca very nearby serves really delicious food), even hospital, not that you need it! Most importantly, owner Graeme Hunt was so friendly and customer-focused that he kept us up to date on when the motel was ready for our check in, what to expect, etc. He made us feel at home even before we reached the motel. By the time we got there, we felt well and truly welcomed. Highly recommended!

There is nothing that we didn't like - we highly recommend the stay in Argent. We would be more than happy to return to stay again in the same motel. Truly exemplary.

Everything was excellent the location, exterior of building, room was excellent very modern facilities next level, sound limiting glass reduced noise of road and helicopter from the hospital nearby. Owner Graeme called me a day before to invite us to check in earlier than the scheduled check in time as we were traveling from out of town, wow thats just over and above and appreciated staff at reception on our arrival..I'd recommend Argent Motor Lodge highly

The staff from the time we checked in were excellent, even though we arrived early our room was ready, and the cleanliness was exceptional. We were shown where everything was and how to use the appliances. Something that many place do not do, but this place does, they had milk in the fridge for your convenience. A continental breakfast is available on request and the owner is on site for any queries after hours. When we checked out on Sunday we were given a Sunday paper to take with us for free. Would stay there again

We had to park out on the street as all the parking spaces were full, but that really is just nit picking, We really couldn't find anything bad to say about the place and any one that does really need their heads examined

Nothing every thing was perfect. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our reason for being there was our brother in law was really ill in hospital. They offered to transport us not only to hospital but also to take us shopping as well.If you ever want to stay at a quality motor lodge who put you first i definitely recommend this establishment and will always book there myself.
