Hotel Yarden by Artery Hotels

I didn't know at time of booking, but the hotel is well located. 10 mins walk from Krakow railway station; this was extremely convenient for us on our return journey and our trip to the Auschwitz museum (as we chose to get a train), and less than 10 mins walk to the main Krakow maket square. There were also an abundance of small shops; just a short walk away, one was open 24 hours. The breakfasts were good and the staff were very helpful. It was also quite pleasant to sit in the garden to have your breakfast.

The room could have been a little bit bigger, though it was as stated; a twin room. it would pobably seem bigger with just double bed in it.

I chose a twin room and we were given a room on the top floor under the roof. It was tiny and the bathroom was very small too but it had everything we needed. We visited in middle August so we were very happy to have AC in the room. Staff was nice and accommodating. What I appreciated the most was the lovely inner garden where you can have breakfast or just relax. I have read previous rewiews about breakfast stating that it was poor but I can say that there was a lot of choice and that we both were super happy about the variety (I prefer a sweet breakfast whereas my partner is more a salty breakfast type) . For me the hotel is really good value. Very convenient location just 10 mins on foot from the historical city centre and sorrounded by any kind of amenities.

It would be great to be able to chose between feather pillows and memory foam pillows. Also, even with AC the thin duvet is too much in hot summer days. Normal sheets would be fine :).

Great location, only about a 10 minute walk to old town. Tram station directly across the street and train station about a 20 minute walk. Room was big enough for 2 people, beds were firm. It was quite warm while we were there so the fan provided in the closet was a nice surprise. The city view rooms are a bit loud with the tram and horse drawn carriages going directly in front of the windows all night. we always travel with earplugs so it wasn’t a problem. The front desk attendants were all lovely and helpful with city information.

The one thing I would suggest is a ceiling fan or a bigger standing fan for summer months.

Perfect location, only few minutes walk from main square. Car park at hotel is a bonus if hiring a car Room was fine, clean and comfy Tea and coffee making facilities in room were great The garden is lovely, especially in the sunshine. Reception staff are very friendly and are willing to offer any help with bookings or questions etc…. Nothing was too much for them Hotel is excellent value overall and we will definitely be back and won’t hesitate to recommend

Breakfast was just ok ……. Not bad by any means No toaster for breads, crepes are cold, no option for an egg or omelette A little more of a variety and it would be adequate for all nationalities Bikes are available to hire at the hotel but it’s not advertised anywhere - just happened to see on the last day - should inform guests as bikes looked lovely

The best value for money hotel we could find!! I don't know why some people complain about the noises, but I had a peaceful stay at the hotel. We got a great triple room, nice and clean, with all the useful amenities. And bathroom also clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay for me. If they have, bread, cereal and tea then I am happy. And they also keep your luggage after checking out in case your flight is later. I will definitely suggest this hotel to others and If ever come again in Krakow, I will search for this hotel

They only thing that needs upgrade are the pillows. For me they were too soft. But that's my personal taste. Overall the hotel is great!!

the hotel was in a good location with friendly staff we booked in for a two night stay but we ended up staying a 3rd night the only problem we had was they wanted us to park our motorcycle a 8 min walk away at a different hotel yet the was parking at the back of the hotel after about 20 mins chatting with the staff they eventually let us park at the back of the hotel our bike cost more than an average car so we did not want to park them that far from our hotel

I've seen a few mixed reviews about this hotel. So, let me tell you about our stay. The room we were in was in the third floor. As other people said, they are quite spartan rooms, but they do their function. Ours had two beds, a wardrobe, a desk and the bathroom. Everything is quite simple, following that kind of communist style, but it was a hotel room we were going to sleep in, so more than enough. The room was clean, but I do agree that there were things quite old. For example, the towels. One of them was even falling apart at the seams a bit. And yeah, the room was super hot, but all the radiators were easy to adjust. Also, the shower is not made for giant people or very tall... But we are short, so the shower was more than okay. The location was amazing! A 10 minute walk to Rynek Glowny. Also, great service from the employees! So, all in all, I would recommend it for a brief visit where you are going to be outside all day visiting monuments.

In the "bad part", I want to mention that there was no safe. As others pointed out, the toiletries are quite small, and they only give you an small amount of a shampoo-gel mix. We were given a room with a city view, so we did get the bad sound isolation. In winter and with everything snowed, it wasn't that bad. The tram was quite noisy, but it doesn't pass with that much frequency at night. Lastly, the sheets on the bed are so curious. I don't know if it's sth normal in Poland, but the sheets were barely big enough to cover the sides of the bed, so if you moved around a lot, it would fall of. The pillows weren't that comfortable...

The location of the hotel was too good, it is right on the main street of Krakow centrum and everything is nearby. The tram line in front of the hotel added the aesthetic vibe to our stay. Our room had two wc's which was beyond my expectation. The garden at the backside was a perfect location to sit back and relax and also to enjoy the breakfast buffet. The hotel reception service was available 24x7 and they were very helpful. All in all it was a perfect choice :)

Location is great, easy to walk into the main square, and the option to park is good (although make sure you have booked a space in advance). Staff were friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely and good option to just chill and escape the crowds. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment, but available as an add on

The fan in the bathroom was exceptionally loud - not sure if it was just our room but we ended up trying not to turn it on at night...

The breakfast was excellent, the room is cozy and very clean. The hotel is just 10 min walk to the city center, and 15 min walk from the main train station. It has parking but you should book before because there are few spaces. In conclusion good, nice, and cheap. Recommended !!!

Unfortunately, I only had the data cable. The room does not have a USB port to charge phones. Normally the rooms have that facility. Would be good if you can implement it. I didn't like the shower gel, it smells terrible.
