Galeria Suite Hotel

The location is amazing. Perfect. The staff is extremely nice. The breakfast is very good for Portuguese standards. For foreigners looking for bacon beans and eggs, they do not have it but you’re still going to like it. I also liked the decoration of the rooms. They have character. The other parts of the hotel are nicely decorated too.

The hotel was completely full and that was felt in the water pressure and some not that super noise isolation. But nothing affected my sleep. Overall just nitpicking if one must state anything not that great. The honor promised to take care of it so surely the problem will be gone next time.

We loved our brief stay at Galeria Suite Hotel. We were very graciously allowed to drop our luggage, as we arrived prior to check-in. The room was very spacious and clean. We had a lovely little terrace, and enjoyed some time sitting outside. The breakfast was quite excellent. Far more options than we expected for the price. The location is very central, and a pretty easy walk from the train station. Bonus that they had a lift.

The position was very good next to the boats just in the middle of the city. About 20 min walk from the long distance bus station, 15 min from train, but I also saw some local buses. The design was nice. Continental breakfast ok with some local chorizo too. Reasonably silent.

There was no heating, but it was warm outside and I slept better without heating than in Lisbon with.

Breakfast provided a good range of choices, but no boiled or scrambled eggs, which would have been nice.

The young women who ran the place were prefunctory, and lacked enthusiasm. They seemed like high school students with limited training. Usually Portuguese hotel staff are very welcoming and cheerful. This hotel did not have those Portuguese good manners and charm that I am used to.

It is centrally located. The air conditioning worked well. A tiny refrigerator kept several 500 ml waters cold for us.

The room was very small. There is no parking available, so we had to walk 6-7 minutes to a parking garage. (There is also free parking about the same distance, but it was so hot, we opted for the underground parking.)

The room is ok, there is everything you need, location is central, there is a terrace. The bathroom is nice and spacious. The beds were comfy. Good quality and price ratio.

Design of the room is not of my taste, the sound isolation isn't good, so you hear the neighbours coming in, slamming the door.

It's proximity to everything was fabulous and the staff were helpful. They stored our luggage before and after checkin and check out. I liked our little courtyard.

The lift was small and noisy.

Fantastic location, friendly staff , nice variety for breakfast. The highlight is the great location. The best value for money in Aveiro.

Would prefer freshly squeezed orange juice.

The room is very spacious, comfortable, clean. there was a coffee maker and fridge. about 10 min walk from subway.

Very central location. Balcony was nice. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with a wide choice. Gluten-free options too. Able to leave bags at reception.
