Marina Club Lagos Resort

Excellent, quiet location with restaurants and supermarket nearby. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Bus terminus 10 minutes walk away, so didn’t use a car. Magnificent coastal walking.

Uneven brickwork around large outdoor pool. Pool used twice a day for bath time by gulls.

Marina Club by far has to be in the nicest location in lagos . Step outside the door to breathtaking views of the Marina . There are restaurants & bars on the marina . A short stroll into town & a large supermarket on your doorstep. The pool is beautiful. No rushing every morning for a sunbed ( this is a deal breaker for me ) . We didn’t surface till after 11am most morning and there were plenty of beds in our chosen location. They don’t encourage the dreaded reservation of sunbeds. The vibe is very relaxed. The poolside bar serves food/ drinks & ice creams. Though you must ask for the snacks menus ( a bit disappointed this wasn’t offered ) otherwise the menu is more restaurant lunch & reflected in the price . The restaurant is open for breakfast & dinner also. The apartments & rooms are very well equipped. We traveled as a family & booked one of each . They are spotlessly clean & serviced every day . They are both of a very high standard . I would highly recommend paying extra for a pool or marina view . The staff are very welcoming & super friendly.

Great location in the Marina area of Lagos. Lots of restaurants, bars etc nearby and a short walk across the bridge to the old town. Big supermarket within 5 mins walk also. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Pool area v clean and plenty of sun loungers. No problems with people leaving towels out on loungers and thankfully you didn’t need to be up at the crack of dawn to get a lounger! My second time staying here and would definitely recommend to family & friends. We stayed in 2 bed apt - lots of space and very well equipped.

Be careful of the temperature of water in the taps / shower - gets extremely hot!!! Could be dangerous for children. Perhaps just a fault in the apt we stayed in ? We reported it to staff.

It was my first time in Lagos and it definitely impressed me and this hotel was just the perfect place to spend it in! The room and facilities were amazing...so spacious and just so nice to have a drink on the balcony in the sun in the eve! The pool and facilities including the bar (which was gorgeous and attentive friendly staff!) and the Spa were just fab. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again and we are already looking at booking our holiday again for here when we all meet up again! The staff were so helpful and for my friends birthday, surprised her with a bottle of bubbles - thank you so much, you made our holiday such a memorable one!

Our first time visiting Lagos and it did not disappoint! The location of the Marina Club Resort is fantastic, close to restaurants on the Marina or walk a little further (approx 15 mins) to the old town. The resort is about a 5 min walk to the supermarket. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had requested a cot, baby bath and high chair which were all there when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool area is also open to day visitors so can get quite busy, especially if looking for loungers under an umbrella for a baby or children. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

The building our apartment was in did not have a lift, this was a bit awkward with a buggy. A small thing to note was the AC in the main bedroom was temperamental at times. On a personal preference, we found the mattress in the main bedroom to be quite firm and the pillows lumpy.

The resort hotel was very conveniently located, with a supermarket about 100 meters down the road from the main reception. Our spacious room on the topmost level had a kitchenette and dining area as well as a balcony overlooking the pool area and the marina. Parking for guests are a big plus! We did not get to use the pool and other facilities as we were at the marina and all the outdoor activities can be booked from there.

Overall, the place was nice though very much dated. The room we stayed in seem a bit new, though the bathroom had a leak on the shower/tub enclosure that the bathroom floor gets wet.

I recently stayed at Marina Club Lagos Resort and had a wonderful experience. The resort's proximity to the station, just a 5-minute walk away, was extremely convenient. The impressive marble staircase to the reception added a touch of elegance, although it might not be ideal for heavy bags. Arriving before check-in, I was pleasantly surprised by the option to use the pool and spa towels, a perfect way to unwind after a long train journey. Upon receiving the call that our room was ready, I was amazed by the spaciousness of the suite on the second floor. The living room with a kitchenette and balcony was a highlight. The room configuration worked well for our family, but the sofa bed might not be comfortable for adults. While the Wi-Fi was strong in the living room, it was weaker in the bedroom. A major plus was the supermarket, Dolci, within walking distance. The pool area provided a great space to relax and cool down. Overall, Marina Club Lagos Resort offers a pleasant and convenient stay, with a few minor improvements to consider. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Lagos.

Excellent VFM. Big room, with all required facilities. Supply of beach and pool towels was a nice extra. Really good location. 10 minutes to main beach. 15 minutes to the old town. Right next to the marina, with its bars and facilities. Staff consistently polite, helpful and friendly.

The Wi-Fi was rubbish. It didn’t work and therefore you need to use your own data, but it’s the same everywhere in the med, so no great drama. The room was a litter dated, and is on the edge of needing a refresh, but the size more than compensated.

Lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment with large balcony, perfect for eating outside. Loads of wardrobe space. Pool towels supplied. Ideal location, right on the Marina with plenty of restaurants and bars and only a short 10 minute walk to the town centre. There is also a very large supermarket 5 minutes away. We had a birthday while there and the hotel kindly delivered a lovely complimentary bottle of iced champagne to the apartment.

The shower room/toilet was quite cramped but not really a problem as you had the main bathroom too. A full length mirror would be great.

The place is resort so it nice location and good place to stay.

The treatment by management when we specifically had requested higher floor and pool view which we paid for. When we got there they gave us first floor which when you go on balcony it looks out people sitting and tree.. Just FYI: if you pay for pool view do not get first floor. Wifi was horrible. You basically could not get any wifi in the room. in order to get wifi you had to go outside. this was very much issue.. Breakfast was very much nothing.. so don't waste your money in breakfast. if you get it free then ok..
