Atlantida Mar Hotel

The staff was over the top. They were, professional, kind, efficient and always smiling. Tasha was a joy to see first thing in the morning and they even decorated my bed with hearts and swan towels for our anniversary

I wish the floors weren’t carpeted.

The Breakfast was plentiful with an options for all tastes. We were really well looked after by the staff. I had dietary requirements that I informed the hotel before arriving and much to my surprise my request was met. Staff serving at Breakfast one, young lady of the name Mafalda made us feel very welcome and chatted about our plans for the day, a sweet character named Mafalda. The view from the room was well worth the little extra money, we enjoyed the hot tub of an evening and Sauna, the room was kept really clean every day and all the staff at the dest extremely helpful.

I felt we could have done with a slip mat in the bath / shower but it didn't take any thing away from the enjoyment of our stay.

Def highlight was the staff: one of the best! From the reception to cleaning personal, they all made sure that we have a great experience. First day, lady at the reception printed out an itinerary for the festival and brought it to our room, which we even have asked for! Once I mentioned that it was my boyfriends birthday week, reception and cleaning personal prepared the best surprise. On the last day, we needed a taxi at 5am and asked for reception to help us arrange it: then when they realized we are leaving really early they tried to arrange a breakfast for us. Once my boyfriend said its not needed, gentleman at the reception asked if he should arrange a lunch box. These people love their job and make sure that guests have a great experience, I really hope hotel management values them and treats them as they deserve because they are the 5th star to this hotel 🥰

Nothing I can think of. Quite close to the centre (Lajes) but a bit far from the historic centre Angra. Since we had a rental bike, this was not an issue.

The room with a sea view was amazing, when we were opening the balcony door the feeling was like your bed is right on the beach. The room was comfortable, perfect place for the couple. Location is also good with access to walking beach area, bus stop is near hotel, 10 mins walk to the city cafes and supermarket or you have 2 restaurants just near by (good option for the dinners for example). The included breakfasts were also really good, the ones we are usually expecting to have in the hotel (English breakfasts) :) but probably if you’re staying for more than 4 days you will be eating same food each morning. The water in the pool was cold (as well as in ocean), but the included warm jacuzzi completely compensated this problem!! And there is also a gym, it’s small, but also with ocean view. And we want to give special mention for the staff! They are just amazing people! Everyone was so welcoming and polite and they answered every question we’ve had! We loved this stay much, so if we will come to Terceira island again that would be definitely our choice!

The hotel was fantastic, very modern and our room was upgraded to a suite in two floors. Of course we couldn't use so much space but it was nice anyway. Bedroom very comfortable. The swimming pool was good and the hot tub very appreciated. The views to the bay are also nice (although half of the view is towards the commercial harbour). It's not far from Praia da Vitória (walkable). Staff at the reception desk and at breakfast was very kind, enthusiastic and available. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely come back again to this hotel.

The room matched the pictures. Beautiful view of the water and everything felt new and clean. Breakfast was very good. No lunch or dinner, but there are three restaurants nearby, which I actually like better than some of the restaurants I went to in Angra. Nice walk along the water up to Praia.

There was an issue with the booking and they had me checking out a day earlier than my actual actual booking, despite the booking.com confirmation, and I had to change my plans and find different accommodations. So I recommend confirming the reservation beforehand, but I would still stay here again.

Sea view rooms . Clean swimming pool. Spacious room with good facility . Round the clock 24 hours reception. Good breakfast . All staff are putting all their efforts to make your holiday wonderful. On the back from swimming pool good walking track along the beach . Mountain View as well as sea view . Near to super market continent. On request arranged best tours. In all respect very good service and taking care of guest at every level . Never say no to any thing we ask . Neat and clean room. Junior suits are very lovely as I stay at junior suit. Friendly nature of all staff and most can speak good English . Fully satisfied . Cost too little higher side but when we happy means we got value in one way .

Every thing I like . I suggested to keep a water station on each floor so that we can fill our drinking water needs as it does not cost more but a great facility .

Everything. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Natasha gets a special mention. Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed, spotless. Location fantastic, beautiful views from room and access to town was perfect without being to close. Left phone at hotel, phoned from the airport and the receptionist immediately organised a taxi to bring it to the airport within 20 mins.

The staff were exceptional, couldn't fault the receptionists, the cleaning and room service staff and the kitchen staff and waitresses! The room was bigger than I had expected, bed was huge and super comfortable! I used the AC to warm the room and it worked wonders. The balcony was great, it gets sun for most of the morning and day and the sunrises were lovely. There was a kitchen in the room with a well stocked and fairly cheap minibar as well as a sofa and table to work from the laptop. The breakfast was great, constantly topping up items before they ran out - option to have it serviced in bed but it's nice to go down and look over the sea or you can take it to your room and sit on the balcony - good options for breakfast. The receptionists and all staff across the hotel were very welcoming, helpful and great to chat to to find out any information! They also saved me a few trips to the supermarket as they had the items available at the front desk! Great location and great service, I booked an extra night!! Everywhere was clean!

Too many light switches, I couldn't figure it out and the jacuzzi was not working, everything else was great! I went in Feb/March - wrong time to go as the weather is hot but wet and windy with thunderstorms.

Exceptional service staff always ready to help.

We overnighted near the airport two nights. The first was in a Junior Suite ocean side and the second night in a standard room Mountain View. The Suite was much bigger BUT ocean view rooms face East and the sunrise is blinding. Mountain View is 30% cheaper and overlooks the small parking lot and road to town but noise was NOT an issue and the view was greener. The amazingly helpful staff and clean property made the stay perfect.
