Our feedback is a big dose of praise for your very hard working receptionist and maître d´ and server and almost personal assistant Ms CATARINA who welcomed us with a big smile in very good English upon arrival and assisted settling into our rooms. She was a perfect host helping us with every wish we had or explanation we needed such as instantly serving us coffee tea water or even any part of the dishes we still asked for, be it corn flakes, bread rolls, how to handle the coffee machine or bringing alternative coffee when needed, fruit compote etc etc – we felt she was part of our family. Also every morning she would great us so warmly and was continuously ready to give us any guidance we needed, all the time displaying great human warmth and interest into her guests. We live in Japan where excellent service and readiness to work hard are a nationwide standard, and I and my whole family all agreed that she fully matched those standards and even exceeded that! So we all are extremely glad to have met her and thank you for having employed her in such a prominent position as the face and representative of your beautiful hotel where we had such a wonderful stay full of happiness for our family ranging 3 generations! Also I want to praise the cleaning staff for their friendliness and so helpful language ability in French! We thank you for a wonderful stay at Quinta Malaposta!

suggestions: non-functioning (bathroom) doors, loose shower hooks better functioning bathroom amenities like a complete set of bodysoap/gel shampoo conditioner with much better dosing tops.

The beauty of the hotel is understated, impossible to capture in any one photo. The staff were absolutely amazing. Every attention to details of the comfort of the guests were observed. It was quiet, lovely, the food fabulous, the room a delight and the design of the room and details were just lovely. I would like to add a special thanks to Carlos and Katerina who were the most charming and splendid host and hostess ever! We were so impressed with the hospitality, and the beauty that we are now in the process of buying our home there. But will return for the food at the restaurant!

The only drawback was that I wished we would have stayed longer!

The staff were excellent and very welcoming and accommodating (Carlos and his wife). We also really liked the traditional look, Minho stone, origional features and history of the hotel. We were told it had been a post office in its distant past.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and with a reasonable variety of products.

The bad smell coming from the bathroom. The poor quality of the WiFi The beds provided to the kids were not stable and comfortable.

It was fine for a one-night stay, very friendly staff, nice breakfast, beautiful grounds.

The layout of our room was a bit awkward and the downstairs area was not very comfy. No double glazing, road noise distracting (luckily not a busy road) and room can be a bit draughty.

The staff was amazing! Even they had enough work, they helped us to solve our issue with smile 😊 the place is amazing (on Camino route), breakfast was delicious. I can fully recommend.

Bathroom very small, appartment much smaller than the 60 sqm indicated in room description, breakfast only from 9am onwards

Beautiful grounds very well designed. The gardens were very relaxing and lovely to admire. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

There was no ventilation in the room it was comfortable.

Area very calm. Beautiful hotel areas with garden and pool. Bed very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Good to have a little kitchen with cooling possibilities.

Bathroom clean but low pressure on shower, but no big deal.

Very quiet and cosy place. The garden, pond and swimming pool are great. Staff is extremely friendly and hardworking.
