Vega Hotel

Fairly large and clean room, snow white sheets on the bed, very comfortable.

Arrived around 21:45, I was told I could have dinner in the hotel restaurant. I literally got my food warmed up in the microwave oven (mashed potatoes and a duck leg). On top they applied some fresh plating, but the taste of mashed potatoes warmed up in microwave for me is unforgettable (I've eaten it many times in my youth:). Ugly!

It is a good hotel with nice facilities. What makes this hotel really stand out is that everything is exactly how it should be. Every light works, every chair is comfortable, the shower works and the bathtub works and the electrical outlets all work. And the staff are so very friendly. I have stayed in hotels that cost 10x more but did not make me feel as comfortable and happy. And the food is outstanding.

The hospitality and the care we got and also the empathy for Ucrainian refugees welcomed by Vega hotel that we saw and felt from the hotel employees, was really amazing. The personnel of the hotel really made me proud once again that I'm Romanian, because their care and emptahy towards Ucrainian refugees accommodated and supported by Vega Hotel. The room was nice and clean, minibar having everything needed. The view from the balcony of the Danube and the city of Galati is great. We were very happy that we got car park at free hotel car park plots.

At arival we were not given any induction On next day we did not know where canteen is located to have our breakfast Fan was noisy over the night Fan noise from outside when opening the windows We have booked family apartment 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed and for extending the sofa bed linen, stuff was trying to extra charge (sorted at the end friendly),it is crazy to think 2 adults and 2 kids can sleep on 1 bed

Room was clean and so the bathroom, I loved the view. We had a room at the top floor. Unfortunately was strong wind and I couldn't rest well because of the noise. Seemingly the door and the windows are not so hermetic and good soundproofing quality. If you are lucky and go in sunny days and with good weather then the stay will be fantastic.

value for money is desirable! to high the price for what they offer

location, facilities and breakfast were really good, the view over the Danube river is perfect.

We had to pay 3eur for a towel (they said it was with spots of wine) although it was not possible. Anyway, because the gentleman from the reception was polite we paid and left to avoid further fuss.

I like the location; and qualified staff, although they were not able to solve all issues.

No internet connection in the hotel; no parking at the hotel premises; some details that could make quality differences

Lovely view of Danube from room. Nice large bed and modern bathroom with good shower and large bath All staff were pleasant. Good buffet breakfast and food in restaurant was tasty.

The staff is exceptional. One of the best staff I have experienced anywhere I’ve stayed in any country.

Actually nothing, perhaps the habit. Making you pay for your in advance instead of the end. It was a little annoying since I decided day by day to stay longer and always had to go down to pay for room. It’s worth chasing this! Beside this everything perfect!
