Unirea Hotel & Spa

The room was big and comfortable. Very good in-room amenities. Very central location, close to a nice city centre and touristic attractions. Staff very helpful & 24/7 checkin was great.

Overall it was a very good stay. The only things I liked a bit less were that the room were heated quite to a lot compared to what I'm used to in my home place (but so is the rest of public space in Romania) + through the ventilation I did catch some smoke smell one night which wasn't pleasant, probably due to a neighbour smoking even though it's forbidden by the hotel.

Everything was great. The rooms are renovated, are modern, clean, with big and confortable bed. The breakfast was very rich in a modern breakfast area. The stuff was friendly and helpfull. Also, Spa and pool was a reason a chose this hotrl and I can say I was not dissapointed. The pool has good water temperarure, there are 3 saunas too choose and there is a jacuzzi. I enjoyed a lot my 2 nights in the hotel. If I visit Iasi again, definetly I will stay here.

The thermostat in the room was not really working. Even if it's winter I do not like very warm but the warmth was constant. When me and my family left twe reported this incident and they said they will fix it.

Room is small but comfortable, sleeping quality is good. Breakfast is good enough and it is to be appreciated that it lasts till 11:00. Free parking is a plus although the individual space for each car in the parking lot is just enough to get out of the car either you or the passenger :).

The room was nice but require modernization especially the floor and I don't know if you have air-conditioning facility when it's very hot. The window opens very slightly and the room requires more lightings. Also the cleaning wasn't very good like last time when we cam on may 14th of May 2023. There was a funny smell from the bathroom too. The water bottle we drank and used glasses we used where not replaced and the duvet was not placed neatly on the bed like when you walk in to the room first day.

All was good. Clean and cozy. I`ve asked at the reception for some ice, becasue it was very hot +37 on that day. I came into my room, looked arround and they immediately brought the ice. That was very helpful and I want mention it. Breakfast very good. I would reccomend two of drinks with sea buckthorn/CATINA (catina cu miere de albini + catina cu merisoare). Very tasty and healthy. Very good spa (not jacuzzi), dont forget the swimming cap. Good meal on 13th floor. Try artisan icecream and Tamaioasa Romaneasca dry white wine.

No cappuccino for breakfast. Initialy, the room was reserved for payment as 73 euros, but they charged 80 euros. Very strange. Why? This is my first unpleasant money experience with booking dot com. On 13th floor restaurant - do not order fruit salad - no taste. Not very good service, very similar to soviet service. They gave me a table at the window with a lot of sun. It hurt my eyes. I wanted move and they gave me a small table right on the wall (no city view).... although there were plenty of free tables at all windows. Nobody occupied them on time I was there. So, what was the problem to give me a table with city view, as the 13th floor restaurant is announced as PANORAMIC. ???

I liked the breakfast, was offering a good variety of products from where allergic people, vegetarian or vegan people can also enjoy! The food was tasty and included also some traditional Romanian elements: e.g. zacusca. The room was clean and cosy, good size of the bed, Fridge, TV, bottle of drinking water, etc.

Cigarettes smell sometimes comes from the bathroom from other guests, but here the guests are the ones who need to behave compliant and smoke just in allowed areas.

I liked the room's view of the city, and the Panoramic restaurant with amazig city view and good food. The breakfast was great as well, and the fact they have pool, saunas, gym and massage options, which can make the journey more pleasant.

I didn't like that the bed creaked with every movement, which made me unable to rest properly. The bathroom door was very old, the wood rotted and I guess from the humidity, it didn't even close with the handle. The rooms and bathrooms need to be modernized.

Lovely hotel, modern, good air-con, good food. Nice rooftop restaurant, fast service. Too bad I had to work and no time to go to the spa/swimming pool...

The other guests did not comply with some COVID-pandemic prevention measures (sanitizer, wearing gloves at the buffet) and touched everything with their hands. Nobody said anything. There could be more people at the front desk, we had to wait a bit long to get our suitcases back because there was only one person dealing with all guests.

The breakfast location was very nice mostly because of the view. The food options were also good. Plenty to choose from. The staff was friendly and the general atmosphere was very pleasant. The views from room at the 8th floor towards the square were very nice.

I've heard that the hotel is going through a renovation and that I landed in an old room with old furniture. The towels were worn out. I think they were old and in need of replacement.

Reception staff helped me by getting me a superb room - on the floor I wanted and overlooking the square. They also changed the type of room I chose to get me a better deal. The breakfast includes a generous range of foods - something for everyone. It's also a pleasant place to stay - it feels good from the moment you walk in. It's spacious, quiet and efficient.

You need to book in advance to use the panorama restaurant. You also need to drive CAREFULLY when using the car park - remember to get your parking ticket validated before trying to leave the car park. Access to the hotel car park requires a little courage as you have to cross a busy tramway and it's an awkward turn - drive carefully and you'll be fine!
