Mercure Sighisoara Binderbubi Hotel & Spa

The hotel is great. It looks amazing with its wooden and vintage decorations. It is very close to the city center. The main restaurant has good food and the breakfast is wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and the room is quite big. Hotel has 3 sauna and one jacuzzi that might be a little small if more people want to use it at the same time. The hotel has a big private parking.

I liked the magnifient building, the excellent location of the hotel (the closeness of main street and the Citdel), the abundance and the great variety of the all-you-can-eat breakfast, as well as the humble but very efficient personnel both at the reception and in the restaurant.

Sorry, I cannot report negative experience.

Fantastic room, one of the best I've ever stayed in. Really nice, very clean. Good breakfast. Really nice staff too. Hotel suffered outside issues (water stoppage, lightning strikes) and they coped very well with things beyond their control.

Good location, close to city center but calm at the same time. very spacious rooms, pet friendly, clean, friendly and helpfull staff, good breakfast. to be recommended

air conditioning available in the room but even though it was on 24 hours a day we never got below 25° in the room day or night, while it was 27° outside during the day and 19° at night and the AC was set at 21°. according to me the unit was to small for the size of the room. We could handle it but if you are sensitive to this ....

I've stayed in many Mercure Hotels over the years, and have generally found them to be clean and comfortable, but a little on the utilitarian side. That was not the case with this hotel: Clean and comfortable, yes, but it was an absolutely gorgeous facility. It had a beautiful lobby and lounge, large and attractive rooms complete with refrigerator, spa, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and it is easy walking distance to the most attractive areas of Sighisoara.

Nicely located hotel with spacious rooms and very nicely decorated. Definitely kept in Mercury's standard. Warm rooms, comfy beds. Allows pets, albeit at an additional charge.

Bathroom in our room was definitely in a need of proper scrubbing or renovation. First signs of mold and loose paint were visible here and there. Coffee we've got served for breakfast was tasteless, could use an upgrade in that department. What was however utterly annoying is that during our check-in we were greeted by 2 clerks, one inexperienced and another visibly ill. This in itself wasn't a problem, but their cooperation was poor, then they were picking up phones in the middle of checking us in. Due to that, the whole process took about half an hour and was quite annoying.

Stayed several nights. Beautiful, very clean hotel, great common areas including guest check-in and dining. Breakfast buffet hot and cold very good plus dining in one night, food was very good, including dessert the next. Excellent location and of course medieval, lovely village, plus hired taxi recommended by hotel for trips to Biertan and Viscri villages on two different days. WiFi dependable. Bed very comfortable. Several staff members were friendly and welcoming, in particular, Daneala who was at the front desk and always upbeat, exceptionally friendly and helpful.

This is just me. I prefer NO wall-to-wall carpets in hotels as they can’t really be hygienic and I can always smell the cleaning products. Understand why hotels have them. But at least in this hotel we could open the window a bit.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Bathroom was good.

The restaurant at the hotel had very limited selections. The spa area of the hotel was under renovation and not accessible. The road leading up to the hotel was under construction. The connectivity to the hotel guest wifi internet was overly complicated, and my (brand new) MacBook Pro laptop could not connect to the hotel internet.

We stayed for 1 night here and are very satisfied. The hotel itself is really nicely decorated, we loved all the wood element throughout the hotel and the room. The room was nice and spacious and very clean. It was quite warm in the room, so we were tryin to adjust the AC or at least shut it off (as it was quite loud), but this took some time, as the AC was not exactly new and the off setting wasn't reacting exactly how and where it should. We managed to deal with it in the end and it was fine. The breakfast was also fine, quite a lot if choice provided. Would recommend to others as well.

The road leading up to the hotel is not very nice, but besides that there is really nothing to complain about.
