The staff were friendly and helpful, checking in with us everyday on our schedule for the day and whether we needed any recommendations or booking for activities and restaurants. They also helped us book our Cape Winelands day trip. In short, we loved the stay, and we would be back the next time we're in Cape Town!

Wonderful B&B accommodation located in a rustic residential area Oranjezicht on the slopes of Table Mountain. The staff and personnel are very kind and helpful in making the most of your stay. The attic room with access to the roof terrace (fantastic mountain panorama) was nicely decorated, well-sized, with a very comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. Room safe available. Breakfast, inside or outside at the pool, was great with a selection from the menu. Wi-Fi is available throughout the accommodation. Cafe on the corner called 'Ou Meul' available for lunch or small dinner. City center, Kloof Street, restaurants available on a short 20-25 minute walk although Uber taxis are the easiest way to go around in Cape Town. A big thank you to Dirk, Anja, Mico, Mike and the rest of the team for a wonderful stay at Abbey Manor!

Nothing comes to mind, except that light sleepers could wake up to the sounds of the Cape Doctor (south eastern) winds which can be strong in summer time.

Lovely old house near the foot of table mountain. We had a lovely room in the attic with wonderful views of the mountain and the sea. The bed was extremely comfortable and I would say this is the most 'at home' place I have ever stayed in. A very nice, peaceful neighbourhood. Parking was on the road outside but quite safe. The staff were all great and very helpful with luggage etc. Breakfast was very nice next to a lovely pool and gardens. Would recommend and visit again.

There was no air conditioning in our room although the room description on the booking site said there was. Luckily we stayed on a relatively cool day and the attic room had lots of windows that could be opened. It might be a bit hot up in the roof on a hot summer's day. I thought it was a bit overpriced but that said it was lovely.

A stunning home with exceptional views of Table Mountain and down to Capetown. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay for longer. Our cottage room was so quiet, private and very comfortable. We had breakfast on the beautiful terrace by the swimming pool. Dirk, Mico, Anya and Mike are so welcoming and nothing is overlooked at this home from home. I can’t recommend it more highly and we will definitely stay for longer on our next visit to South Africa.

Amazing breakfast. Great neighbourhood (definitely try the cafe down the street). The staff is knowledgable, gives you great tips for the activities and food. Tnx Mico :). If you're looking for something else than the standard hotel from a big chain, you should definitely try this one!

Friendly staff, comfortable and fancy accomodation. Dirk was very attentive to ensure that my stay was smooth, and I appreciated their flexibility in settling the payment issue due to problems faced with my credit card. The location is perfect since you can see the iconic table mountain from your room. And yes, the smooth jazz music played at the lounge while having my breakfast made my stay particularly special.

Comfortable, luxury Easy to be found. The B&B is a big building in a residential area. Located close to city center, just below of table mountain. No secured parking. The rooms are big. Nice furniture. Very clean. Breakfast is very good. Service perfect and friendly. Wifi existing. You get value for your money! Would we come again? Yes!

The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable the additional amenities including mini bar honesty bar etc were great the people who were there especially Mico ,Anna and Dirk especially Mico offered genuine 5 star service to us as guests and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this property

Lovely old Captonian house with Oregon pine wood floors. Comfortable room, very friendly staff, great location.

A small desk or writing space in the room would have been nice - but in its absence, the tables at the terrace served the purpose very well.
