it is like being on safari near the city. For me it was a great location for the Lombardy business park where Inwas for the week. the breakfasts were lovely and very filling, can’t believe they weee in with the price With the exchange rate in my favour there was no issue using the mini bar which was stocked. Tea and coffe in the room also as well as still and sparkling water. Ossie, the host, was attentive without being obtrusive. It was peaceful and very relaxing nearby good shops and plenty of varied restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

Would have been nice to have a restaurant for evening meals, but probably not sufficient demand.

Well received, friendly staff. Breakfast awesome. Everything around us was just beautifull.

The swimming pool was green, the Sunday we stayed in and it eas very hot, but I was not going to swim in a green pool.

Facility is nice ND quiet....

The fact that they don't approve you to come with your beverage caz their small fridge already has drinks of which when u drink them u have to pay.... And their breakfast mostly has pork of which I don't eat.. Breakfast I have to choose what I want not channeled what to eat...

Helpful team, stayed overnight after a wedding. We loved Jock. He visited with us on our stoep all night . The Black sheep bistro seems popular with locals , breakfast was excellent, there was a steady stream of people.arriving for brunch

The conditioning shampoo is not conditioning, left my hair like straw .

Ozzie and Liza are super hosts! Facilities are decorated tastefully and the breakfast and coffee is out of this world! I also took home some yummy frozen prepared meals so cooking is sorted for the week!

Sherewood Lodge is in a beautiful setting, gardens all round green lawns, spacious, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are beautifully decorated with every luxury. The staff (Ozzie) is so professional, friendly and warm and catered for our every need. We really felt welcome and at home. The food at the Bistro on the property is tops. Will love to visit them again.

Ozzy and his Team made our stay a very pleasant experience!!! Beautiful gardens give a very tranquil stay. A special thank you to the chef and her team at Black Sheep Bistro, on site, for the best breakfast we ever had. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast was more than Incredible, Rooms very spacious and clean, grounds well kept and maintained, the friendly dog that came and greeted us at our room and the geese and ducks wandering freely :)

Sad the pool was not open. The Leaf blower starting at 7am on a Sunday morning was not great to wake up too. These are minor issues comparing to how amazing the Lodge was in general.

Ozzie is an incredible host. Jock is the cutest little dog that runs around the property oh and the food is sensational 10/10!
