Andaz Seoul Gangnam

we stayed in 2 different room types due to the bigger type being sold out on our last night- the bigger one was great (spacious and also had an air purifier) but the smaller room felt very cramped. the morning of our room change front desk helped move us to our second room before we had to check out which was very convenient and nice.

the doormen/ valet men in the front of the hotel driveway are rude and not accommodating at all. it seems they cater to the locals coming to park their car more than hotel guests. I got off my taxi from the airport and none of them helped me with my bags. Bad first impression of the hotel. I had to go inside and ask for a bellboy to come help with my bags. Also just service from staff overall is not very friendly compared to other 5 star hotels where someone will always be in the lobby to greet you and help you with anything ( getting taxis etc.)

The location is superb, the subway station is just right there in front of hotel.(Apgujeong exit3). And we can walk to Apgujeong Rodeo Street, and chic restaurant near the hotel. The hotel design is great. Bed sheet and everything is comfortable that make us sleep so well along the trip.

Just only one thing, I decided to upgrade + more paid for the room with balcony, but the hotel staff told us that the balcony is locked we can’t use the balcony. So, I thought I should not upgrade the room and waste the money for this.

Excellent location with direct access from metro and on the orange line. All staff was great, polite and helpful. The room/bathroom was ok size but beautiful and comfortable. The international sockets are super useful. Lots of storage area. The separate toilet was useful with a toto toilet. Bathroom ok with standard+rain shower but with no lock. The free minibar is appreciated. Pool is ok, but like many places in korea, it requires you to wear a cap. The room service food is excellent, super tasty, hot. (unlike the breakfast)

The breakfast was only ok good, but for the prize we paid, it lacks variety and quality. Food items were often not hot. (the room service food was far better) The sink design in bathroom was not good, water often just sits on the flat base and not draining, and tiny small flies were coming out of it. The room make up team always keep changing the soaps and adding new slippers, while appreciated, it seems a little excessive and wasteful. It was above average great but not quite match the prize tag in terms of quality and details. it seems better as a business hotel rather than as a holiday hotel.

We loved the design of our room - modern, simple and very practical. It's spotlessly clean. I liked it having a separate powder room and spacious bathroom with walk-in wardrobe and a make-up table. Beds are comfortable. We had good night sleep. It is conveniently located right next to the subway station. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and jaccuzi. Gym open 24 hours. Hotel staff are excellent from receptionist to in-room services. The breakfast buffet offers an excellent variety of food with good quality. We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Andaz as a family and will for sure come back again when we visit Seoul and Gungam.

The room is lovely and spacious, but more than anything, the staff are amazing! They were constantly on the lookout for how to make our stay more enjoyable and so, so attentive to everything we could possibly need. Service was so prompt and they were constantly anticipating our needs. When I went downstairs to wait for my food delivery, one of the concierge staff voluntarily went the extra mile to head out in the cold and check if the delivery rider had arrived. I am so impressed - the staff alone are more than enough to make me visit again.

I loved everything about my stay at Andaz. From its location and friendly staff to all the amenities the hotel provided. I will say though, the best thing at the hotel is definitely the TOTO bidets and how the bathrooms and toilet are separated. The room had very great appliances like the air purifier was of top quality and even down to the smaller details like shower temperature knobs. Also, the snacks and drinks had many varieties and were replenished daily and the room service options were top notch. My favorite was the LA Kalbi tray set which I ordered many times on throughout my stay. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I stayed at and definitely one of the cleanest and best in Seoul!

The shower temperature in my room was not set correctly. The middle knob should be lukewarm to warm but it was scalding HOT. in order to set it to a lukewarm temperature, I had to turn the knob all the way to the right.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We tried 3 hotels in Seoul and this is our no.1 choice. The hotel's interior is super chic and huge space. Everything you need is there and more. Truly a luxury 5 star hotel. Every staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities are superb. The location is perfect and the subway station is literally beside it. It is a bit pricey compared to other 5 star hotel, but it's worth it.

I wish the king size bed would have been larger though, but over all its amazing hotel. We'll definitely come back.

Amazing, central location that is close to multiple amenities. Loved the facilities, and the room was cozy and clean. The overall design and vibe of the hotel is appealing to both business and leisure travellers. Hotel staff were also professional and accommodating, super helpful. Absolutely enjoyed myself.

Staff spoke great English and were happy to accommodate various requests (including helping us with taxis, food deliveries, etc) Spacious and clean rooms, extremely comfortable beds and general ambience.

Located in a high traffic area so traveling by car/taxi was unpredictable. Would recommend to spare plenty of time to travel to the airport/your destination if traveling by taxi.

Everything was perfect! Nice location, staff, room , swimming pool. Breakfast was various menu and taste wonderful. Highly recommended There was kid’s lounge at B2. Amazing hospitality
