LOTTE City Hotel Gimpo Airport

The main point of this hotel is to be walking distance from Gimpo airport when you have an early flight to catch or when you land late at night and can't be bothered to commute. The mattress and bedding is western style, soft and with bed sheets. Blackout curtains are very welcome when trying to fight the jetlag.

As it is within the shopping centre, once the Lotte department store closes, everything else closes too, so the nearest convenience store is quite some distance. Luckily there is a sort of vending machine by the reception with an array of random goods, such as chestnut cream!

Very nice Hotel, in close distance to Gimpo and adjacent to the Lotte World Gimpo shop. We spent two nights here. One night we had a double room on a high floor, I guess on the 9th. The second time we had a triple room on the 3. Floor. Both rooms were big, spotless clean and quiet. Extremely friendly employees at the reception. There is a breakfast place in the Lobby of the Hotel. Dinner can be eaten in the Lotte World, keep an eye on the closing hours. There is also a Cinema. The city and Incheon Airport can be reached via subway or the Express train, each in about 60 min. Excellent Hotel for stays between flights!!

The room was great, nice bed, great size, it was clean and well presented, enough towels and hand towels, enough amenities in the shower and hand washing. Altogether it was very good

The breakfast was not value for money, it's too expensive for what it is. The buffet was cold, eggs were cold, meat was cold, I was not impressed considering it cost me £17. I would have preferred to have saved my money rather than be talked into it by the front desk. Another thing I was not impressed with is being told nothing was refundable only to then be told I could not get a refund when I checked out early if I didn't inform Booking.com I was leaving. That sort of behaviour irritates me as a traveller. Hotel staff need to be honest with the facts when you check in, not wind you up when you have to leave early. Will I stay again? Maybe but I'll be better prepared and advised for next time and not listen to any poor advice from the front desk.

I absolutely loved the staff, very helpful from the first interaction, patient and ready to help, taking their time to explain what I needed to know and friendly. I really appreciated the cleanliness, it was more than I encountered in other hotels around the world and the room smelled nice, which is really something as in some hotel rooms it just smells of cleaning products. I chose the hotel for its location, right near Gimpo Airport and I truly appreciated how easy it was to get from the hotel to the domestic terminal as I had heavy bags - the hotel has airport carts you can borrow and leave at the airport, and I was truly grateful to the staff for making it easy for me to carry my bags around the hotel and to the domestic terminal to which I got via a passage at the ground floor - very comfortable! I am very grateful! Also, it was quite comfortable to have Lotte Mall right there, as I arrived late and was worried about dinner, but the Mall has a food court and a big supermarket that I went to and bought dinner and breakfast. Even though it's practically, right in front of the airport, I didn't hear the airplanes coming and going, and though I was very tired, I would still have been bothered by some noise, but I guess the building is well isolated.

I kept receiving messages about validating my credit card in 24 hours and if I don't, my reservation will be canceled. Maybe this is a policy the hotel applies with guests that reserved directly through them, not through booking, but it kind of stressed me, as I was wondering if my reservation will still be available upon arrival since there was nowhere to validate my credit card as booking already had my information. This may be put into the management area of systems running at the hotel.

Very convenient location. Easy to get to and from Incheon airport. Room was very clean and spacious. Being attached the Lotte Mall was a big plus. Staff was polite and allowed me to check in a little early.

It's not clear how to get into the hotel once the mall closes. The entrance into the hotel from the mall is the easiest to use and I was lucky there were security guards who allowed me to enter and take the elevator within the mall up to my hotel room so late into the night after the mall had closed.

I enjoyed the bed and the shower facilities; both were comfortable and clean to use. There was no flight noise at night so I slept very well, which was much appreciated after a 13 hour flight. Towels and pillows were plentiful for one guest.

My stay was as expected after a long international flight. Mostly washed up and had a good night's sleep before additional travel. Be sure to grab a meal before checking in, if at a later time. The Lotte mall and its restaurants close at night.

Great location, walking distance from both Domestic and International Airport. Within same building as a shopping centre so nice for shopping and eating and entertainment. Staff really helpful and happy to hold our luggage for the week even though we were not staying with them again when we return. Worth it. Great coin laundry 1.5 hours washed and dried and done.

Other than the airport and direct shopping g centre it is isolated so keep that in mind.

Extremely friendly staff with 24/7 concierge service and very conveniently located close to the Gimpo airport. Stayed on the eighth floor and the room was spacious with a nice view of the international airport terminal.

Not that I didn’t like the property, but it’s hard to navigate the direction to the hotel if you arrive at the domestic airport terminal. Called to ask for directions and the staff was helpful to inform us of the underground path that connects all the facilities.

glad there's a mall next door with a food court. its location is great if your flying in or out of Gimpo. and its attached to the mall and subways also. Great view of the airport and airplanes as long as your above the 5th floor. and have an even numbered room.

restaurant is closed for who knows how long so i had to find somewhere else to eat each night i know they are blaming covid and all but it hasn't stopped other hotels from having food in Korea. Or the other countries I've been in the last 3 years. I personally think they don't want to reopen the food places as its not the money maker and is a draw on the bottom line if you have to pay the staff in those.

Excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable room. More than big enough for my requirements. Stayed one night for flight the following day and a quick 5-10 minute walk, through the mall, to the airport. Easy enough to walk to airport myself even with two large suitcases and a cabin-sized case. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive.

I arrived later in the evening after a long flight from the UK. and there was no option for dinner - it would have been great to grab a bite in the hotel restaurant. HOWEVER, I was told this in advance via email from the hotel, and it is understandable due to the increase in covid cases in Korea right now. Also, you can take the elevator directly into the mall and there are a lot of restaurants and cafe places and a few convenience stores to chose from so plenty of options if you’re in before 10pm. It did not negatively impact my stay. (Though I didn’t have it, I believe breakfast may still be available, it’s just lunch and dinner that are not).
