Catalonia Plaza Mayor Salamanca

Located near beautiful Plaza Mayor, great scent upon entering into lobby. the rooms had USB ports for chargers, beds were comfortable. awesome buffet breakfast. Will definitely be back

Only downside was no onsite parking but it was very easy to park down the street, we parked on the street. Parking is free after 8pm and you don’t have to pay again until 9am.

Located directly next to the Plaza Mayor in the centre of the historic centre was fantastic in such a lively lovely city. It is in the pedestrian area so you get some funny looks driving to the hotel along of the streets but even when the police stopped us we just said we were going to a hotel and they waved us on. Lots of drinking and dining options close to the hotel. A visit recommended to Salamanca centre - we wish we had an extra day here to look around properly as this was just and overnight stay. The hotel has nice rooms as described on the site, with a fridge and some UK tv. All clean and tidy.

The rooftop pool is very small, just a plunge pool and wasnt clean. Rooftop terrace was very small. Parking at the other end of the street (challenging to get to) is in an underground secure and attended car park. Hotel guests get a discounted rate of 14.95 euros / night

Everything was just right during my stay. The location is pefect, just around the corner from Plaza Mayor and a few steps from the main attractions. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but there's a garage a stone's throw away, with special prices for the hotel guests. I appreciated the comfort and the room was silent, which was a huge plus. The room was a bit warm (mornings in Salamanca are chilly.in spring!) but the hotel staff promptly adjusted it for us. Finally, the breakfast was nice, fresh and varied, and the coffee tasted particularly great.

Great breakfast buffet, late checkout at 12:30, friendly staff, very comfortable beds.

Ugly view out the window in our room, just an old apartment building, best to keep the shades closed. Location is a little difficult to get to by car, you have to thread carefully through pedestrian streets. Parking is difficult, street parking is practically non existent, and many parking garages are full in the evening, and parking spaces in them are ridiculously tight for anything bigger than a Fiat 500.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good selection of Spanish and International food. The location is as close to the main square as you can get without actually being on it.

Our rooms were close to the top floor plunge pool, which meant a lot of people walking up and down the corridor, and two of the rooms were visible from the pool so we had to keep our curtains closed.

Tucked away in a side street yet close to the centre and activities A beautiful hotel, spacious room, comfy bed, quiet Breakfast was very good, a lot of choice, fresh and well presented Great for overnight or longer, will stay again

A little difficult to find and parking isn't on site although is available and security checked a short distance away

Location, cleanliness and good size specially the bathroom. Staff was very professional and helpful as well. Swimming pool in the roof, small but very cute 🥰

There was not parking at the property or included in the price but staff was very helpful at showing and explaining indications for the nearest parking (15€\day, about 3 minutes walking distance)

Location, lovely amf helpful staff, excelent matress. big bed, lovely reception/lounge area and on a quiet street.

Pool closed at 21 (would have been nice if it closed at 22), our room had it's window onto the sundeck, so curtains had to de closed at all times and it didn't feel ok to open windows, shower head was broken, no toilet brush.

This hotel is really central to all Salamanca has to offer - literally the other side of Plaza Mayor. The beds were very comfortable, and the AC worked great. The staff were very nice and helpful, and they let me leave my suitcases at the hotel after check out for several hours before my train left.

location, bed was immensely comfortable, very quiet hotel, the shower was strong and instantly hot, the latter is sadly not the case in most hotels nowadays. Pleasant and super friendly staff.

at breakfast the scrambled eggs consistently looked, day after day, dry and unpalatable. I do realise that I’m picking on something unimportant, here.
