Hotel Seminario Aeropuerto Bilbao

The hotel is beautiful, offering a unique and picturesque setting. There is amazing history to the place and if you have a moment, ask reception about it as it's amazing. Breakfast was good, there's a good choice but the setup is a little confusing as there's no dining room as such but rather you approach the bar and choose your breakfast. It's clear that some regular visitors already know this but for those who are new, it's not easily discovereable information. There is a free service to the airport which is perfect and can be requested at reception or via email before your visit.

On arrival the kitchen was closed so you're left with vending machines. That is fairly limiting and it would have been nice to have an actual meal available. Also it's a big place and it's a little daunting at times as outside of reception, there's nobody to ask anything from.

This is like being in a 1940 movie. It is such a grand place. I felt like I was in The Great Gatsby! The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English. They arranged our airport shuttles. The room is huge!!!

The AC goes off in the middle of the night. We have found that to be common in Spain. But with the room being on the 5th floor of this extremely large and private building, we just opened the windows and let in the cool air.

location, upgraded room with space, lovely view and kettle makes a difference. lots of good advice from friendly staff. c,one to public transport and very comfortable and easy to come and go. also no paying upfront,only in departure which I prefer.

breakfast. it was ok but not a lot of healthy choices. there was ample fruit and fresh orange juice,good coffee but very stodgy food. I bring my own oatmeal but there was no joghurt, not a big deal.

Nice big room and very good bathroom. Had a very good breakfast, good selection of food. Close to local train station, cheap travel to the centre.

It was a bit away from the city centre but close to the airport. Around there weren't many options to eat but close to local train station, cheap travel.

Beautiful location. I walked the area and the parks/walkways were beautiful. Staff helpful with walking information/shuttle to airport in the morning. Only took 5 minutes to get to airport.

The hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday and I had difficulty finding a place to eat within walking distance. Hotel reception recommended restaurant at golf course which I had lovely walk to get there, but only served small tapas/drinks. Still lovely area, but I was hungry.

Location much nicer than expected. The lady in the bar made great coffee and was extremely nice.

The bathroom flooded the whole room when my daughter took a shower. No breakfast buffet restaurant, only a spanish style bar. Anyways a great bar with good omelets and so, so not really a problem.

Super friendly staff, very helpful Very convenient as very close to the airport and they organise transfer to it without surcharge Open spaces, good for walking around, also close to town centre if you need groceries

Cold breakfast that they leave in a box in front of your door but I understand there will be limitations due to the current pandemic Coffee vending machines had higher prices on the floor I was staying so I had to go all the wat down to the lobby to get it cheaper, not really a bother but if you want to go back to your room with one is a bit of a stretch

Overall, the hotel is nice with all of the necessary amenities. It is not very close to the centre of Bilbao, but it is located just 5 minutes from the airport with a taxi.

The location was our first choice but arriving at the property, beautiful facade , spacious room for 3 ,restaurant with a good selection and a ride to airport!
