Senator Gandia Spa Hotel

Fantastic location, great views from room, wonderful staff!

The room was very spacious and nicely equipped. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with many options available. The beach was close, about 7 min walk, bus station to Gandia city was 5 min walk away too. Parking possible for a fee at the hotel, but we noticed on the nearby streets that it was free to park there.

There was no rule for entering the pool with the hair tied up, therefore we were finding hair in the pool and was very unpleasant.

Modern hotel. Good location 2 min walk from beach and many bars and restaurants. Lovley outdoor pool and sun lounges with plenty of availability. Friendly helpful staff.

Maybe I should have read the small print !!The sauna and spa facility that the hotel promotes is actually a separate facility and nothing to do with the hotel. Reception staff at The Spa was rude when I asked to look she explained this is not an option unless I pay 25 euros an hour - disapointed the facility is not available for residents to the hotel without paying 25 euros an hour.

The fit out of this hotel is really excellent, with a gorgeous lobby, fantastic pool, very comfortable bedrooms and huge, modern bed that allowed for an excellent sleep. We also had the buffet breakfast which was plentiful with lots of choice, and egg station and as much coffee and juice as you might need. The car park under the building was also very conveninet and quite large and easy to negotiate.

The reception and older staff in the venue were really excellent. A small bit of feedback for the hotel is that some of the younger staff could do with a bit more training, as they forgot things, or had a bit of attitude if we wanted to ask about drink or food options.

Hotel is called Gandía Spa, we booked services in the SPA, which is located in the hotel. The spa notified us the day before that they were waiting for us, fantastic! when we got there, the spa was closed for refurbishment. SHOCKING! when there are this type of issues, the hotel is not SPA anymore, spa and hotel are independent… what a surprise. Here we are, someone is going to trick me. Management definitely poor, online attention doesn’t exist, I called them and after 10 minutes waiting on the phone I hung up. Sadly, we had a really bad experience. we drove from far away to have a spa afternoon, dinner, stay for the night and come back on Saturday. the spa event was the only reason we booked for the night. So, so disappointing

The hotel was modern and clean. The pool was a nice temperature and there were plenty of sunbeds. Location was excellent and the room was spacious. Particularly liked the large comfortable bed. Service at the desk was perfect

Possibly the pool surround could be a bit more natural with some shade Trees.

Nice hotel. Reasonable standard. Good room although having the shower and washbasin in the bedroom was a bit quirky. Staff were cheerful efficient. Good breakfast. Close to the main beach and selection of restaurants. Good secure parking.

Parking was a bit expensive at €21 per day. Lights in the public toilets downstairs were on a timer which you couldn't reach from the business end if the lights went out. Really bad design easily fixed with on/off switch or motion detector.

We stayed at the Junior suite with Seaview. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a great variety and the location is fantastic. We had a very good time there and will for sure come back. The best value for your money in my opinion.

Rooms have no hair conditioner, but that's the only inconvenience we encountered. A very easy one to solve if you ask me.

Fabulous! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great value for money. A fantastic Michelin starred chef’s restaurant on the top floor with beautiful views. The rooms were chic and classy and the hotel itself is beautifully designed and gives you that spoiled feeling. An underground car park was a bonus! And they allow pets! The sandy beach is 1 min walk away and goes on for miles. Will definitely stay again!
