Hotel Mediterráneo

The location is perfect for me and all the staff at the hotel are fantastic and so friendly. The room is kept perfect by housekeeping, the reception staff are very accommodating to enquiries and the restaurant staff are eager to please. Overall, it’s perfect for me, as I am close to many friends and the beautiful beach. I have the occasional breakfast there, which is perfect for me, but l generally eat elsewhere with my friends. But I would recommend the tranquil atmosphere in the restaurant.

Nothing, everything and everyone was perfect.

The staff were lovely, when we asked if there was the possibility of a room with a balcony they immediately moved us, even though we hadn't asked in advance. The room was comfortable, clean, and with everything you need. Location was excellent, with parks, bars, restaurants and the beach all within a 10 minute walk. We stayed at 4 different hotels during this trip, this was the most inexpensive but by and far the best of them all. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Nothing, no complaints at all.

Room was very spacious with coffee and tea making facilities. Large shower. Very comfy bed - wider than a single and a good thick mattress. Very clean. Plenty of wardrobe space including shelves and drawers. Dressing table with mirror on wall. Excellent breakfast choice. Option to have bacon and eggs (fried or scrambled). Good range of pastries, fruit, yoghurts and cereal. Decent balcony with table and two chairs. Outside light too. Fabulous location, lovely Italian restaurant opposite. Beach less than 10 minutes away. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Lovely staff, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The gentleman on reception came to my drop off car (it was friend) and carried my heavy case up the hotel steps. Was very friendly and polite. The room was excellent size ( 2 x beds) and balcony. what I loved was it came with a really good hairdryer ( I should have left mine at home), a small fridge to keep all drinks cool. the bonus was outside in the lobby (4th floor) a water cooler which not only save money but save time. breakfast was more than enough, fresh rolls, fresh fruit, pastries and lovely Americano . the girls that served breakfast ( also scrambled eggs) every morning worked so hard and was so friendly and polite.

Nothing that I can think of. there was noise late in the evening inside and outside, but it’s not a complaint as it’s just part of being in Spain

Great location near the beach… Family run business….. my car got towed away on the first night because I parked in the wrong place by mistake… the owner took me to collect it, dealt with the police and made sure everything was sorted… I offered to pay him but he would not accept any payment… certainly went above and beyond.

Parking was a little difficult

The hotel was very clean, excellent room and bathroom. Small balcony. Everything I needed inc a small fridge. Ideal location. I managed to park my car near the hotel or just outside it most of the time. I didn't eat at the hotel but the breakfast looked lovely and the menu del dia for lunch was always a great option and good value. I'll definitely stay here again.

I can imagine when the town is busier it will be impossible to park your car nearby.

The room is spacious and the shower brilliant. Fantastic location close to all amenities and a wonderful beach is just 5 minutes' walk, ideal for an early jog to welcome the sunrise. The staff are really helpful, easy to communicate with and always ready to give tips on places to visit and things to do.

Nothing I didn't like. I guess it can be a bit noisy during the busy summer months with the rooms overlooking the street. But since I was there in October, it was great.

The location was perfect, the room was very comfortable and cleanliness was of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful and the accommodation and food were of a very high quality overall. It was extremely good value and I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Guardamar.

Friendly check-in experience and a clean, comfortable room. The property is very well-located with bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was much better than most Spanish-style hotels, including drinkable coffee and a good selection of cold food and eggs on demand. Wifi worked well, as did the shower. Overall, a very nice property at a good price. Easy free street parking nearby (obviously this would depend on the season)

Other guests were quite noisy and there is not a lot of soundproofing. We were cold in the afternoon, but then the radiator came on at night and was nice and warm.

For a budget hotel we were very pleased with the comfortable bed, cleanliness of the whole hotel. A good breakfast and friendly staff. We were able to walk to the seafront and into town. We would certainly stay again.

Nothing really, for the price we were very happy. Could see some people would like English tv and a car park but for our purposes it suited us really well.
