Hotel Nerja Club Spa by Dorobe

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy. The hotel is 20 mins walk to the coast with nice restaurants/bars. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was only doing breakfast which was very nice, it was a shame the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner but reception did say they could order a takeaway to be delivered to the hotel and the bar had lots of sandwiches to choose from. There is two good supermarkets right on the hotel doorstep to buy drinks and a small fridge in the hotel room. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet. The A/C was fantastic and so quiet you could have it on at night to sleep.

We were very lucky we had 6 lovely quiet night sleeps except for the last night stay. No very soundproof would get rudely woken up by people slamming doors and can hear everything going on in the next room (pack ear plugs for just in case). The spa pool could do with a clean (it had a brown ring around it on the tiles.

Clean, spacious, lovely helpful staff. Spa wellness facility... Free 45 minutes session per person per stay. Lovely outdoor area by swimming pool. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Great water pressure in shower. Good snack food from the bar at pretty good prices. Two for one drinks happy hour ( 5-7pm!)

Breakfast .. maybe we caught them on a not so good day, but hardly any hot food left and what was there was hardly warm. Cold beans, no sausages, watery mushrooms, ... Selection of cold option - cheese, ham, pate, but for 8€ the quality could have been better. Served until 10am and we got in at 9.30am.

The outside pool and area was great. The cleaners were very accommodating, cleaning when suited the guests. The dining room staff were friendly and attentive. The big balcony was very good and the view was lovely. Good location, so car not necessary needed. Very good value for money.

The spa was not great. Guests putting towels out to reserve sunbeds. The signs said that towels would be removed by staff but they were not.

Not enough sunshades due to people moving them and being greedy, unable to share between themselves and happy to leave people with no shade at all. Not totally hotels fault but if they put extra stands and umbrellas for every room or stopped people moving them so they have 4!?

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Nice big comfortable rooms. Bonus of outside and inside pool Great location as Mercadona across the road plus the blue bus stop Have stayed several times before and would stay here again

Grateful for reservations allocating me a good room. View from the balcony/room. Room was compact, but everything was there. Liked it. Sun lounge area. Cosy bar.

On B&B basis. Thought the breakfast was average. No egg cups for boiled, (small) eggs.

Clean…as soon as you step into the reception area you can smell the cleaning products.. Nice clean outside pool area.. We didn’t eat here apart from having a few morning coffees by the pool.. Buffett Restaurant in the basement area looked decent enough.. Would definitely stay here again.. Our only criticism is the lack of parking but we was here in the height of Summer and obviously because of Covid and the lack of Spanish being able to travel we’ve never seen Nerja so busy in the 20 or so years we’ve been visiting..

The room was exceptionally clean abs spacious, outdoor/pool area was exactly what we wanted, the balcony we were given was perfect with a lovely view, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The location of the hotel was a 10-15 minute walk from burriana beach and a 10-20 minute walk from balcon de europa.

I cannot fault this hotel. It however is not very modern/fancy but considering the price per night it is great value and provides everything you need to enjoy your stay in nerja

Charming, older hotel, no plastic modular bathrooms! Terrace with seating, air/con, well insulated rooms for noise, we weren't disturbed by early morning riser's slamming doors and rolling suitcases loudly past the door! Perfect location, free parking, spotless rooms, well appointed with an electric kettle, English language TV stations for news, etc. Lovely intimate hotel close to Burrianna. Lovely bar area, with live entertainment on occasion. Friendly helpful staff, service with a smile. Will return.

Have stayed at this hotel before staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good too.

Couldn't get on WiFi which was a bit disappointing. I knew the outdoor pool would be too cold to use and was therefore disappointed to find the indoor spa pool was out of use.
