HL Suitehotel Playa del Inglés - Adults Only

The best part about this hotel is the fab staff, everyone had a smile and by the end of the holiday greeted us as old friends. The place was spotlessly clean and the food was always varied and delicious. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay a really special one

The roof terrace had jacuzzi pools which were lovely and had a fantastic view but there was no shade from the sun as I guess they don't want sun brollies flying off of the 9th floor, however there are plenty of places to shade at the bar area, this would be my only negative comment though

In general, hotel was very good I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of products and for dinner there was a lot of fruits and vegetables, spanish tapas, cheeses as well as different hot food options every night + barbecue. Hotel has 3 pools, there was always place on sunbeds next to them and it was quiet around the pools since there are no children allowed. Beach is also nearby, hovewer down the stairs, which may not be ideal for older people with knee problems; at the beach you need to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas but it is less than 10 EUR per day, there were often waves in the sea which was fun. Staff was also very nice and friendly and there was different show every evening in a bar (mainly island singers, some good, some worse) to accompany your drink.

Only negative for us was beds in our room- mattressess were too bedsore and when you lie down you felt like in a tobogan tube (I weight only around 50 kg) so they definitely needed to be changed seasons ago :(

I really liked the food. There was a different food theme for every dinner. Gluten was marked on many options (except bread and trivial ones). Facilities are nice. There is a nudist area on the top of the building, is someone prefers that. Drinks can be played at checkout. Location is nice, however worth considering using busses if going a bit further. There is a small Spar next to the hotel, which is bonus. The hotel was clean.

FYI: Policy is strict about “only hotel quests”. If you feel like inviting your “friend” over for a “coffee” or similar, then you may have a problem. The beds were comfortable, but single beds on rolling legs. They were standing next to each other, but if you want to hug your partner, the beds may start rolling apart…The position couldn’t be fixed. Room safe is not included in the price. No parking option. WIFI experience was not that great, I used roaming many times.

First & foremost the staff were amazing, helpful, went out of their way to assist always, food quality & quantities was excellent & hotel itself was great.

I had to call a doctor for insect bites, but they charged me €320 which was excessive. I was so annoyed. The staff at reception should have advised of the potential for these high costs but they didn't.

Reception staff, restaurant staff, maid service. All very helpful.

Just the bed situation: The two small beds were not so much a problem, I used one. But, to me, the bed covers weren’t meant to sleep under and always slipped off the bed. I woke up (chilly) with just the top sheet most mornings and through the night.

Great Location. 3 mins to beach. 10 mins to Yumbo Center. Very clean and quiet hotel being Adults only. Super friendly and efficient staff. 2 x Amazing outdoor heated pools 25oC. Roof top bar overlooking the resort. Great food with lots of variety - different every day! Would love to visit this hotel again. Highly recommended!

The breakfast and dinner were like from a 5-star hotel with a massive selection to pick from. Large balconies, and good soundproofing towards the Kasbah area. Big bathrooms with good showers, 2 sinks. 2 large pools. AC is a bit weak and has trouble lowering the room temp below the outdoor temp, not usually a problem since nights go down to 22 C here, but we were there when a heat wave arrived with temps reaching 38 C during the day and 28 C at night. You can get taxis with AC and the driver pick you up in the lobby so you don't need to melt in the sun waiting for the taxi to the airport. Taxi to beach is 5 Euro, even if the hotel is pretty close to the beach there is a very long stairway down there which is difficult if you have trouble walking, but you can get a taxi within 1 min from reception.

AC could have been more powerful. You need to wear an annoying wristband 24h. Would be nice with a soda machine for people arriving in the middle of the night since there are no options to buy water or sodas and the nearby Spar shop close at 21. 1 bottle of water is provided by the hotel in the room. However, there are pubs within walking distance.

Spa is lovely and easy to get booked to go and no charge. Good they limit number of people at the spa at one. Great location next to beach and short walk to sanddunes. Hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely hotel pools nice and relaxing. Good gym facilities. We had a room upgrade so had a much bigger room.

Impossible to get a cocktail with dinner and all the bars are closed around dinner time so you couldn't get a cocktail to take to dinner. Food was average same food most days on the buffet. Surrounding area very run down and many of the buildings are abandoned in the area. E.g. the shopping center next to it.

We stayed 4 night in the end of October.. Hotel exceeded our expectations.. We were a but afraid of Covid-19 limitations we suffered before in some other Hotels like limited breakfast, all those lines of guests to get food... etc, but luckily nothing of that kind in the HL Suites del Ingles. Very good.. Buffet was really nice as it was pointed in many previous guests posts.. selection of food was fine... just enough for tasting something new everyday. Cava (Sparkling wines) for breakfast - we missed it in the other hotels last months but here it survived. Super. Bars are really good as well.. special thanks to staff - so friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Special word about second swimming pool - the really sportive one - 25m with 4 lanes. Perfect for swimming.. not just bathing in the pool. Rooftop Jacuzzi is nice thing but for ones who loves it. Anyway, roof-top bar is great with spectacular views of the Ocean. Definitely, we dream to come back and stay longer in the hotel.

Location and facility are really good. Receptionist are helpful und kind. Room is very clean. Buffet had a lot of options. Although it seems not much vegetarian options, were still good.

unfortunately some of waitress at restaurant are not professional. They took my drink away while i went to pick some food from buffet, even my drink was still not finished. My table was already cleaned up and taken by others. Fortunately a very kind german couple invited me to their table. Otherwise i had to finish my plate on foot. Waitress didn’t apologize. what they care about was, how i got my drink back, whether to charge me new drink or not. it was super unpleasant:(
