Sercotel Valladolid

The hotel was very easy to find and well located for a stroll along the river into the old town. It was very clean throughout and the room was well appointed and had a lovely spacious bathroom with bath and separate shower. Although we were late getting down to breakfast, there was still plenty of choice and good value for money. The staff were very helpful, particularly as we had an accident with our dog and needed to find a vet late in the evening. Luckily for us check out was up until 12:00. We would definitely visit again en route to Southern Spain.

This has nothing to do with the hotel as they were fabulous, but I feel the need to warn other people travelling with dogs not to use the metal pedestrian bridge near the hotel, which goes across the river from the Science Museum to El Corte Ingles; in the dark we completely missed a sign which warns not to take dogs across. Their claws can get caught in the ‘drainage holes’ in the metal sheet causing damage and pain, as we found out. We can not fault the hotel as the staff were incredibly helpful and the vet hospital was brilliant too. Sadly, our dog has taken a while to recover as had to have a claw amputated and damaged 3 paws. Please be warned.

Nice room with sufficient space. Private parking available fortunately, because the streets around the hotel are very busy with parked cars. Easy access by car. Friendly staff and a very good restaurant.

The reception staff also answers the phone for reservations, which results in long waiting times for simple questions during the day. Temperature of the pool was chilly. Airco system is insufficient during hot days.

Lovely size room with a sofa and space to move! Bed big and very comfortable as were the pillows - and there were 4 of them! Bath and shower which bearing in mind it was -4 on the night we stayed a hot bath was just what the doctor ordered after a brisk walk along the river. We travelled with a dog and the walking around the hotel is great, river and paths one side and across the road are some lovely parks. As you cannot take the dog in to the restaurant the Mac Donald’s is 20metres away! Staff were delightful. Drinks from the bar very reasonable

Well I would like to take my dog into the bar/ restaurant but appreciate it could be absolute chaos if everyone did that. They do have a lovely outside eating/drinking area but at below freezing that wasn’t an option this time but this is our third stay here and not our last.

It was very clean and the mattress was super comfortable which offered us high quality sleep. I also liked the little details such as the comb and the toothbrush, which are things we sometimes forget. Also the women’s kit was of use. Great breakfast overall and great view from level 4.

I think the pool is just smaller than it seems in the pictures. But everything super clean.

the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, the housekeeping staff super helpful, our bed and our sink at one point had some minor problems both fixed immediately by friendy staff

The pool area is a bit short on seating and places to relax and in the summer heat could definitley sue some more umbrellas or toldos for shade t

The receptionist Maria Jose was very helpful. I highly recommend her. Access to and from the motorway is easy and they have private parking. We ordered room service and had two fantastic salads. One would have been enough between two of us!

The carpet was looking a bit tired and threadbare and needed replacing. There were signs of pet damage such as chewed skirting boards. But, that's the fault of the pet owners and the hotel can't be expected to replace things continuously.

Breakfast was good, a bit limited for covers but other tables elsewhere were available in the other part of the restaurant. We had a nice evening meal too. Staff were very friendly especially the receptuon.

Didn't have the best experience at Sercotel, Toledo but this hotel was far superior.

Everything as you'd expect in a quality hotel. Was pleasantly surprised with the bathroom kits and the lady kit with essencials any lady could need. Very good idea and breaking gender barriers. Well done! The staff was all very lovely as well and made us feel super welcome. Will definitely stay again.

Can't point anything negative really.

Location good for stopover on way to Santander ferry terminal. Comfortable clean rooms . Big beds. Nice bathroom with separate shower. Good secure payable parking . Free to park outside but hard to find spaces. The pool looked inviting. No time to use it unfortunately.

Air con did t work. Bed comfortable but the springs noisy.

Room was quite small but very well organized. We enjoyed a super comfy bed. Having a bathtub AND a shower cabin was an added value. Breakfast might have more vegetable options but overall was very decent. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was secure parking - we had to pay extra but it was worth it, especially so because we were able to charge our EV overnight. This hotel does not have a very central location but you can walk to the city center or take a taxi if you want to go out at night. Overall we had a good impression and we plan to be back to this hotel once in Valladolid.

Everything was fine. Just a small detail: Out of two elevators only one was working during our stay. We did not mind taking the stairs most of the times. But going up or down with a luggage was not practical, so on those occasions we had to wait a bit longer.
