There are only three rooms, two on the ground floor and one on the first floor, so the villa is quite peaceful and quiet (except some barking dogs around :-)). From the balcony on the first floor, there are nice views thanks to the surrounding tea plantations. The host and the staff were very kind, helpful and flexible regarding the breakfast time. They also prepared a packed breakfast for us when we were leaving early for Horton Plaines. We also received a set of teas as a farewell gift. They accept cards.

On the ground floor, there is a common kitchen corner and living space where breakfast is served. Unfortunately, there is only 1 table for 6 people, which causes misunderstandings when all guests want to have breakfast at the same time. Although the upper room has a capacity of 4 people, some of the equipment is only for 2 guests (mugs, bedside tables and lamps). The bathroom and fittings are quite tired and need some repairs and renovation. Thanks to the heater the room was quite warm, but we were a bit fighting with hot water.

Really friendly staff who made us tea and breakfast. Rooms are very 'English' which is a nice novelty and they were really comfortable with nice views of the garden . The showers were hot and really powerful which was good after spending time in other areas of Sri Lanka. Overall really enjoyed staying at this property.

It is a bit further out from the likes of the Grand and the main area but you can walk 45 mins to Themparadu which does amazing food, and you can easily find a tuktuk driver to take you places. The Indian at the Grand was also well worth a visit for food!

The staff and its service was fantastic, from the first to the last minute. We wanted Breakfast at 6a.m., no problem. The next day at 9 a.m., no problem. The breakfast portions are huge. We got great insights.and information what to visit for sight seeing and so on (especially tea factory). We liked the style of the room. Parking was available. You can reach the accommodation even without having an offroad vehicle. It's quite and the staff was.very friendly. We would recommend this accommodation to our friends. By the way, they accepted credit card as payment.

Nothing to complain about.

- super friendly and very attentive host - Gave us local tea as a gift - Welcomed us with lovely tea and biscuits - Checking up on us and making sure we had everything we needed - Room was clean but could need a little renovation here and there - location is very good, just a quick walk away to the lake and surrounded by tea plantages

- Maybe something was off with ventilation, because the bed sheets felt damped and kind of smelt moldy

The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The house had a pretty estate house look, and is located amidst the tea garden. There is a lawn beside the house, with a table setup to have tea, and also a few hammocks and a bed. Since we had to leave early, they provided us packaged breakfast, and complimentary Ceylon tea.

The buildings beside the estate are a bit ugly and spoil the landscape. But i dont think it's under the owner's control. There is no access to the tea plantations if anyone wishes to.

Amazing place with a nice garden and wonderful staff. Breakfast was nice, the room is spacious and has a heater so it's always warm and there is hot water in the shower. View from the terrace is beautiful. And they gave me a thoughtful present at the end, a bag with local tea, just amazing. Would definitely recommend it

Lovely hosts and location. Really nice to be greeted with tea on the balcony! Short tuk tuk into town. We stayed for one night and the hotel arranged for a driver to take us to Horton Plains hike and onto Ella. So nice to have staff up to see us off with a packed breakfast, really lovely touch.

Bathrooms could maybe do with a little updating as the room itself was lovely, but absolutely fine and functioning!

We loved our stay here! We were met on our arrival, we were offered some tea and even received some tea as gift - highly appreciated! The staff was super friendly and offered us to show the tea plantation next to the hotel. As we left the hotel at 5AM, breakfast was prepared to go. The rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you might need. Really recommend this hotel.

We loved the whole experience. The caretaker (host) Sameera was genuinely so nice and welcoming. He gave us a free upgrade to a larger and more expensive room too. He was available at any time we needed help and was attentive. The breakfast was so nice and was actually too much :) and had a nice little chat with him while eating. Our little kid got a nice gift from him too and that has never happened to us before. It has a nice garden with three hammocks and we had fun. We will definitely go back to this place for another stay.

Shameera and his team have been very welcoming and friendly and gave us valuable hints. They even prepared us a late breakfast after Adam’s Peak (very delicious) and a very early breakfast package for Horton Plains. Cozy and very charming atmosphere in a scenic house.

Room was a bit clammy and cold but probably every accommodation is like this since it’s Nuwara Eliya.
