Quiet location close to public transport. Easy walking distance to main train station and town center. The facilities are very clean and even though it’s is a shared bathroom and was fully occupied there was never a problem. Beds are narrow but comfy and nice to have your own sink in the room. Small but good elevator which was much appreciated as we were on the top floor. Plenty of closet space and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Also nice touch to have free coffee and tea throughout the day. Great value for the money.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone talk. Also quite hot and stuffy throughput the night even though window was wide open - also contributed to the noise and poor sleep.

Very friendly and helpful staff esp. Marzia she ensured I had no problem to get to the hotel when I reached late. Good area, clean rooms and bathroom, they have lift!There was a fan provided to beat the heat.

The room I was in had the ceiling peal off in one spot and the bathroom door too had chipped off at a few places needed some maintenance. There was a smqll spider in the room the whole time. The breakfast spread is decent and can be improved. The sice of the shower cabin is too small.

Great location, cozy little place, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was simple but very nice. What made a huge difference was the personnel: they went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. From storing our luggage until check in via giving us an adapter for the phone charger to helping set up the provided free travel pass, the people were great!

Slightly too small rooms. The wifi stopped working at some point.

The apartment is located in a solid location, in a quiet and peaceful part of the city, just 1 km from the center. Practically only a bridge separates it from the hustle and bustle of the city. For me personally, the problem was that the bathroom and toilet were shared between four rooms. Admittedly, it was more of a psychological than a practical problem. However, if I had seen that information in time, I would have chosen another apartment. The terrace is small but enough for two people to sit. The breakfast was very good.

Shared bathroom.

Breakfast was simple, but including the usual meals (small selection of bread, meat, cheese, fruit, cereal, milk - no yogurt -). The room was clean, and the staff was very nice. All in all a satisfactory experience, I would definitely return for short trips.

There is only one shower for the entire floor (per ca 6 rooms). It wasn't pleasant when another guest took forever under the shower.

Everything was great, from warm welcome to location to comfort, not to mention self serve coffee/tea freely available in breakfast room which is a true bonus compared to similar types of accommodation. shared shower/Wc wasn’t a problem, sparkling clean & never had to wait to use these.

Booked my room very spontaneously. When I arrived everything was already prepared. Lady at the reception very kind and helpful with infos about Berne and the hotel itself. The room was situated in the 5th floor from where you had a lovely view over the old roofs of Berne. Very calm during the night. The room was super clean as well as the bathroom on the floor with windows for getting fresh air. Breakfast was just lovely prepared. The lady who did the service in the breakfast room was as kind as the other employees. She was helpful and prepared a table for me, cooked my breakfast egg and just smiled. At check out I had a nice conversation with the lady on the reception. Everything very kind and nice people.

Nice charming hotel with clean and practical rooms. Perfect for a night stay in Bern. Close to Lorraine, the railway station and the center. What I particularly liked and was pleasantly surprised about is the possibility to get free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milk after check-in, not only during breakfast.

Everything was great. The price of 100 CHF for 1 night for a room with shared toilet and bathroom is high, but that is the Swiss price.

Everything when well :) the location was a walking distance away from the main station. You could also take the bus and in less than 8 mins you will be in the city. The room was bigger than I expected. Also, I didn't have an idea that breakfast was included :) That was a big puls for me as well as the Bern city ticket which was for free :)

I was not aware of the room tax price which one must pay in Switzerland. Per night was appr. 5€. In Germany we don't have that policy :) That was new for me, but is was okay :)

it’s not a big deal if traveling light, but for pp with a huge luggage, arrival/departure might be a bit clumsy (esp if raining) because the hotel is located a bit below the main street level & one must use stairs to reach the entrance
