Romantik Hotel Schwan0

This is a small, charming hotel in the outskirts of Zurich (15-20min by train, with a station 200m down the road) by the lake. Staff really friendly, comfortable bed, nice toiletries and, in my case, a spacious single room. I am keen to return with my family for a leisurely stay one day.

Floors can be a bit creaky, which is part of old world charm. Not necessarily a problem but just something you’d need to be mindful so as not to disturb other guests.

The staff team were excellent, professional, skilled, warm and friendly. The location of Hotel Schwab was perfect for exploring the town and lake. we adored the L’Occitane toiletries! comfortable bed and we slept well. We ate in the restaurant and the food was absolutely divine and service optimum.

room was a bit warm, which we mentioned on check out but we still slept well. Maybe the shower/ bath could do with updating, although the pink bath is quite retro?!

Location is excellent , in the centre of Horgen. Very convenient for buses and trains . Staff are very good , and speak English which is useful. Breakfast included and was basic but very good .

Be prepared to climb the stairs - no lift available. But acceptable considering this is a traditional historic Swiss building

Location is good, as it is the center of the small town. There are a couple of restaurants and cafe around the comer. Hotel was clean and very charming. Well maintained.

The choice of the breakfast was limited. Unfortunately, I found green and white mold on cookie. I know it was not hotel's fault because the cookie was packed and it was very difficult to find until opening the package. Even so, I lost appetite... There are no elevator, so you have to walk up with your luggage.

The hotel is a smaller property with a terrific restaurant. It felt cozy and was indeed romantic, and while the room was on the smaller side, it was super clean and well-maintained. The staff was also absolutely amazing - very responsive to any requests, professional, and friendly. Parking is available about one minute from the hotel, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Location was excellent for both bus and train station. Easy commute to airport. Rooms very comfortable with good bed and linen. All immaculate. Staff very friendly and engaged. we had a great stay.

Very nice hotel in the center of Horgen. Staff is friendly and breakfast is really good. We have family living nearby and this is the best option in the neighborhood

Simple but delicious breakfast :) The room was better than I expected, very clean with comfortable bed. Staffs were friendly. The only bad thing about the hotel is that there was no elevator :( we had big luggages and getting them to our room was a painful experience.

bathroom needs new paining and the watermarks should be taken care off.. our bin bag was lying in the entree of the suite when we came back in the evening
