ibis Luzern Kriens

This hotel was ideal for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room sizes as standard as like most other hotels. It is within a very short walk to the train station which will take you into central Lucerne. A journey which lasts approximately 5 minutes and as a guest of the hotel, it is free to use. We never once used our car during our stay here as there was no need to. Right next door to the hotel there are both a steak and Mexican restaurant. Also within a few minutes walk there is a small shop where you can buy some essential bits and pieces. Right next to the hotel there is also a hairdressers salon and a bike shop. If we decide to return to Lucerne we would choose this hotel again.

Parking underground was practical. Staff were lovely and helpful. Price was good compared to other hotels in the city.

Shower soap was outside the cubicle and not inside the shower, only shampoo.

It was a spacious room for 3 persons. clean and cozy. No free coffee or tea facilities but we borrowed a kettle with a deposit of CHF20 and had hot drinks by our own. The luggage storage was free. After check out we explored Luzern again without our heavy luggages. (The train station cost CHF15 for XXL size locker where 3 medium suitcases can be put) The hotel provides travel cards and the train from Luzern was free.

1) It seems we can connect WiFi with max 3 devices only. It was not enough for 3 persons. I had to use my laptop and phone, but cannot connect both at the same time because other 2 persons were using WiFi. 2) The body shampoo is at the sink and not in the shower area. Need to go out and get body shampoo.

Hotel is not in centrum but easy to go with bus. Free bus ticket is super! Clean and quiet hotel.

The rooms were adjacent to one another, accessible from within the room. Parking was easy and the location to certain restaurants was good, i'd recommend to eat out at Nooch, nearby the Mcdonalds. Great cuisine! The room had a safety deposit box and even a mini fridge!

Maybe just a possibility for airconditioning units instead of fan ventilators should it get really hot. Definitely more power outlets as we were struggling to charge all our appliances at the same time

This hotel is located not to far from the town center. Good bus and train netwrok near to the hotel. we left our car in the hotel car park and travelled by buses and trains. Hotel gives free travel pass for as long as you are staying at the hotel. Wifi is free to use inside the hotel. staff is very friendly. they advised us on things we can do in the city.

Rooms were small, especially the bathroom, car park quite pricey.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Spotlessly clean, good sized rooms. The hotel ensured we had the parking spot we prearranged for our camper van, which was essential for us. Free train and bus tickets available to us for 24 hours. But we walked to the old town which took an hour at an easy pace, going along the lake for a stretch. The old town and lake we found amazing. We would certainly stay her again.

Breakfast was average.

Size of the room was big for a family of 3 and beds were comfortable as well. Bathroom was also large and shower cabin was big enough and not leaking any water out. Breakfast was also above average and variety was enough

Price was a bit higher than expected for an hotel in Kriens and there could have been a free of charge parking offering for hotel guests

The location is perfect. some of the rooms has stunning views of alps. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable! The hotel staff is very friendly and available anytime 😊

A little outside of the city center, but with the nearby train station, transportation is provided in a short time. You can get free tickets from the hotel. It has indoor parking but there is a daily fee. Outside parking spaces are only used for check-in. The breakfast is quite good. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable.
