Hôtel Ecureuil Villars

The check-in was straightforward, the reception staff were friendly and professional. The location is just a 5 minute walk from the station and main road. The room was large clean. The bathroom had some soaps if needed and the pillows were good quality. Parking on site is practical and a big bonus. The kitchenette in my room had some pots and basic dishes. The wifi was consistant. The room was warm and comfortable.

The kitchenette could have benefited from some salt or basic supplies.

Nice location, just a bit outside of Villars but still very close. The surroundings are very quiet. We had a nice little balcony. The room was clean and there was also a lot of stuff in the kitchen in case you wanted to cook. Check-in was easy.

It's a bit pricey, but I guess that's normal for the village.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is super - close to the centre of town but away from the hustle and bustle. There's a nice bar close by for a quiet drink. It's dog friendly and there's a good garden where you can walk the dog.

The kitchen was a little tired and there was no bread knife

The room is spacious. There is a kitchen, dining area and balcony. Very near to the main train station and is in the quiet area of the city center. The staff esp Doma is helpful and polite. There is a nice Sushi Restaurant with good food. It works well for me because it's just 15 mins beautiful walk to the venue of my training. Breakfast is basic but enough. Happy with my stay.

Might be nice to clean the ashtray in the balcony for non smoker guest.

Easy and friendly no stress communication with staff.

This isn’t a dislike more an observation. The decor could do with a refresh as paint is pealing off the ceiling in my room. The furniture is somewhat bashed and bit tired.

I have stayed at this hotel before so I was pleased to be able to get a room at peak time. I like it’s quiet location and yet it is within an easy flat walk of 5 minutes to the village centre. I particularly like the professionalism of the staff who are friendly and efficient. On this visit, I enjoyed a bedroom in the main building that had two patio doors onto a south-facing balcony. The previous time, I liked the room with a kitchenette that was in the chalet-style building that is adjacent and above the main hotel.

The room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was clean and the balcony was very cosy.

Because of covid restrictions, the sushi restaurant was closed, it was a pity, there was no restaurant in the hotel. But we had a lovely kitchenette where we cooked for ourselves. A restaurant service should have been given for the night as its forbidden to sit and eat in other restaurants.

The location is not far from the train station, palace slope. the kitchen is small but well equipped perfect for a family with small kids. the best experience was the service from the receptionist, she was really helpful to fulfill any of our needs.

The single beds texture were not as firm as it should be (maybe too old), so my husband couldn’t sleep comfortably. the sound insulation on the building is not good so we were extremely disturbed when other guests (the room on top & the room next door) making noises until 2 am in the morning

Fantastic location, we were in walking distance to the station, shops, restaurants, courteous, friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, delicious breakfast, clean room with incredible view.

everything as written on booking.com reviews, no surprises. rooms are big, spacious, comfortable. family room is ideal for the two children family set up, there is a couch in addition to the extra bed, and a medium size table for activities and eating. we were able to check in early with no problems, huge plus!

the second bed intended for kids which we used as parents, as our kids sleep early is old and not comfortable. OK for 1-2 nights max.
