Staff are unfriendly. Quite racist. No lift to the reception. You need to drag your luggage along the stair by yourself

A wonderful stay. we had an an amazing room (306). it was huge with so much space, with a seating area, dressing area and lovely modern bathroom. the bed was super comfortable. we had a huge private balcony with the most amazing view of the Matterhorn. a short walk to the train station and in a lovely location in the centre of the town with east access to everything. The staff were exceptional and a special mention of Yelena who was most helpful and had a welcoming smile every time we saw her. The breakfast area is lovely and was adequate. overall one of the nicest places we stayed at. Would definitely book again if we visit Zermatt.

Nothing. There are a few steps to get to reception area but wasn’t a problem for us as we never had lots or heavy suitcases.

Only a short walk from the station and we were in our spacious, comfortable room with a view of the Matterhorn.. The bed was very comfortable and shower was good. The staff at reception were very friendly. The helped us by printing out the tickets when we had to book a train online. The young South American in charge of the kitchen was very friendly and looked after us well. There was a great range of hot and cold breakfast items. This was our third time staying here. It just gets better each time!!

I liked everything..... friendly and helpful staff, easy check in & out, nice breakfast, very quiet, comfortable clean room & bathroom. Very central location, walking distance to everything in Zermatt. Less than 5 minutes to train station. Breakfast was simple but offered delicious food selections (meat variety, smoked salmon, boiled eggs, cheeses, pastries, granola, fruits, juices, etc) and friendly staff.

No teabags and tea kettle to boil hot water, there is only an espresso machine in the room and I only drink tea and not coffee. Room is just a bit small but enough for 1 person with 1 big luggage. The chair in the room is too big for a small room. If you come at peak time for breakfast it can get crowded because its a small dining room.

Lovely, clean modern hotel not far from the train station and in the middle of everything. It was quiet, the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed, and the breakfast was good.

The proprietor at the front desk had an odd attitude. He asked me three times about if/when I was going to pay for the two rooms I’d reserved— as if he was nervous I would somehow not pay at checkout? And later, he berated two other guests— also women— for wanting to use the ladies’ room in the lower lobby. “Don’t you have a bathroom in your own room?” he kept asking them. This struck me as highly inappropriate— and not in keeping with the standards of fine hospitality. I’m a long time traveler— and a travel writer—and I have never witnessed such behavior before; it was very offputting.

Location was perfect! Right on the main street very close to the train station. No need to take the electric taxi to the hotel. Our room met more than what I expected. The bathroom was big! So big that it could be another small room. Love it that we had a balcony where we would eat our dinners although the view was the other establishments beside us. Still appreciated it. The front desk guy was super nice even if he didn't smile a lot. ☺️ Still appreciated him as well as the wait staff who were chatty and friendly. While there were a few steps wherein you had to carry your luggage up to the front desk, there was a lift going up to the room as well as to the storage area where we left them after we had checked out while my daughter went paragliding.

I wish I had a better view from the balcony but I guess you can't have them all! Haha 🤣 Wasn't so lucky as well when we went up to the Gornegratt as it was snowing so we weren't able to see any view of the Matterhorn. It only revealed itself on our last day when we checked out. Better than nothing.

-Room is spacious, with a shared balcony and a view of the mountains -The room is bright and clean, with nice interiors and ample wardrobe space -We loved the complimentary capsule coffees! -Toilet is clean and spacious, with bath tub. Water pressure and water temperature is stable -Receptionist uncle is moody, but accommodating -Location is great, along the main street, near the train station, cablecar to Gornergrat, restaurants, groceries and shops -Breakfast is alright. It the usual continental buffet type. -We would stay here again if we ever come back to Zermatt

Not much. It was a good stay.

This was one of our favorite hotels during our 9 night Swiss trip. The room was very clean and it was by far the largest bathroom with a spa like tub of any we had in Switzerland. Front desk personnel were very friendly as well. Location was great - about a 5 minute walk from the train station off the main street, so felt like we were right in the action. Could get a glimpse of the Matterhorn from our room's balcony.

Nothing really. It is right off the main street so if you like the windows open, it could be loud in the evening. However, Zermatt didn't seem to be that much of a late night town so no big issue unless you go to bed really early.

Breakfast was standard continental but fresh and replenished regularly. Staff particularly front desk in afternoon were very cheerful and helpful. Even made me a cup of tea both afternoons on my return to hotel. Location , although no view, was perfect, close to Gornergrat Bahn and main train station and short, pleasant walk to Glacier Paradise transport. On Bahnhofstrasse but set back and very quiet.

The best hotel that we ever stayed throughout our traveling in Switzerland. The toilet is superb. Room is huge and very warm for the December (outside is -8⁰C, we can wear short sleeves in the room). The room has balcony. Before we travel, the staff texted us through the booking.com to check with our room preference. The staff said she will try to accommodate. To our surprise, we got very nice room that exceeded our expectation. The hotel is strategically located. Just 2-3 mins walk from the train station. Around the hotel, we can find everything we need like restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, post office, ski rental places and etc in like 1-3 mins walking distance. Very comfy and enjoyable stay. We really wish we can have a few more days staying in this hotel.

The hotel entrance is not so obvious, it is a door that is next to a pharmacy.
