This hotel provided a fantastic overall experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides parking and free bikes for guests. The hotel is quite near the coastal bike path and a lively night market. Our room had a view of the gorgeous misty mountains. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the expected amenities. The shower and great temperature and pressure. There are lots of options at the included breakfast--it is mostly an Asian style breakfast buffet--but some options for Westerners.
There was nothing we did not like. A+ for everything, especially value.

The single room is quite comfy for a solo traveller. You have a big private bathroom so it is much safer than shared ones during the pandemic. You have a TV to kill time although I'm not much of a tv lover. You rent a bike from the hotel for free so you can explore the city in a green way.
I was staying in a single room and there's a window facing directly to the next building and it's only some one meter away so the sunshine does not come in at all. But beside this there's really nothing to complain about considering the price and location.

If, like us, you dont speak mandarin, the staff doesn't speak a word of English. Not even to understand toilet. Of course you can use your phone but I was with my dad and he struggled a bit. In this type of hotels they should have a minimum...
