We needed to be in that area of town for an errand for my family so my dad recommended this place. It was inexpensive, clean, and had all the basic necessities and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The facilities were pretty basic, which isn't unexpected for a place that was $17 a night. We walked about 25 minutes to the mall to kill some time, but there isn't much to do beyond that. It's not really in an area where there is a lot for tourists, and getting to the airport from there was difficult as there weren't really any cabs, so the kind staff called a cab via grab for us. Apparently you can take public transit fairly easily but navigating Thai public transit in a non-tourist area when you don't speak or read the language was a no go.

The room is very spacious and has comfortable beds. The room is well-equipped with towels, a TV, aircon, and a hair dryer. The shower is good with nice water pressure. They provide you with a toothbrush and a complimentary water every day

This place is good! It is clean, staff is friendly, bed is comfortable. It’s about 1.6km from Rajamangala stadium. But you can take a boat (about 700m from hostel) if you want to go to the center. There is 7-11 near this property.
