Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate

Good breakfast. Nice pool. Clean room. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet location.

Getting to the hotel is a bit challenging. You have to drive way out of your way to get in and out of the location. Beware the drainage grate at the parking garage entrance. If you drive a lower car drive slow cause it will tear the undercarriage of your car up going in and going out. 4 basement levels of parking but the first 2 are closed. Many speed bumps in the parking garage. Makes for a time consuming parking experience. Photos on booking.com indicate a white Sandy beach and blue water. Don’t expect that. No beach and dark green water with floating trash is what you get instead. Food at the hotel restaurants a bit spendy for me. I ate outside or had food delivered from outside.

well spent eid vacation for my family everything is great from the valet service to the facilities everything under one roof, all staff are also helpful and also shoutout to the housekeeping staff who is Htay Myint & Aye Theint and also the Manager on the food service and their staff as well, Our Room also nice and clean and i like their bathroom also elegant, we will definitely comeback for our next staycation.

Even though I rate it excellent I had only one concern which is the Internet Connection, I must say its weak, I don't know if the issue is in our room is far away or I don't know, but if you will work on something which requires internet you must tell them ahead of time, we didn't much bother as we are most of the time spend outside.

We had a pool and canal view room situated at lower floor. Hence the music from pool bar was loud till very late. The location is a bit outskirts. We ended up spending quite some money on the distance of taxi to go anywhere.

The staff were very polite and friendly. Very easy to get taxies. We returned after a concert at 11.30pm in a taxi without any issue. Kitchen is open 24 hours. We ordered Pizza at 12 midnight and it was really good.

The TV in the living room didn't work. Informed the reception and they came and fixed it. But it still didn't work. The decor looked dated and dull. The lighting and overall ambiance in the living room needs a makeover. It looked dark and boring.

I arrived at 3 am and was welcomed by two biggest smiles in universe! Algerian and Jordanian staff members, working on reception were not only professional and polite, but also amazing in what they are doing, and quite helpful with overall stay. Hotel has amazing breakfast. room was very nice and bed very comfortable. I would stay in this hotel if for nothing else then for the amazing staff members you have! I have never had reception staff smile and be helpful like that before.

I liked that the hotel is in a good spot and easy to locate, the rooms were sound proof just as indicated on their website also I was able to get a free cot for my baby to sleep in. I must say I really enjoyed my stay there though it was just for 1 night.

I didn't like that the bed size was small for 2 adult and a child of under 5, and I don't know what the large bed frame was for because I was charged for it. Even after indicating that breakfast would be available, we didn't get breakfast 😒 especially having children with us. Just be sure to meticulously confirm that you would be getting breakfast on your plan.

Mr. Ameen at reception. Was just great. I had a serious problem with the reservation being cancelled and booking .com. Call center were totally useless they couldn’t restore my reservation nor provide me with a decent price elsewhere I would have been better off doing the reservation directly with the hotel. Meanwhile when I finally arrived at the hotel Mr. Ameen sorted out everything to my satisfaction

Size of room was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Well mannered

The bed was not comfortable. Pillows were too small and not enough of pillows so uncomfortable to sleep on. Shame we spent £87 for PCR test because only in Abu Dhabi, you cannot access any form of entertainment without the Al hosn app or having a pcr test. Whereas in Dubai, they did not even need this to use facilities. As guests, it was such a shame we could not have access for 3 days without covid pass even though we were vaccinated. Very stressful!

The freindly front desk staff and the amenities, the service was just so perfect i really enjoyed it there and it was worth every dirham everything was just so perfect absolutely nothing wrong i dedicate the excellence of the front desk employees for making my stay a wonderful one i am so coming back again and putting this hotel the first on the list

Nothing everything is perfect

Room services were excellent. Check-in and check-out were quick and effortless. Staff at reception, restaurants, pool bar, room service, spa were very good. Ample parking at the basement. Breakfast at the Horizon was managed well. Happy hours were cool.

The approach to the hotel is not straightforward and you have to go a few roundabouts to reach and get out. The poolside was very hot and humid, beer could have been served in chilled glasses. Mattress could be more hard.
