Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Gulf Shores, an IHG Hotel

It's was nice comfortable place to stay and rest.

We had ants in our room.

The sofa bed lacked the cushion.

The free breakfast was such a plus for me. The variety of food offered met the needs of myself and my kids. They loved going down and picking what they wanted each morning. My son is special needs and for the first time ever, I felt like he was treated like every other person that walked through the doors. I will always being grateful for the kindness of the staff! We enjoyed the pool tremendously!

One of the elevators sounded like it was on its last leg, we avoided it at all cost.

The room was clean and in a safe neighborhood. Breakfast was good. There are lots of trails to walk/run/bike on. Great restaurant within walking distance from the hotel. Staff was extremely nice. Free parking. It's close to the beach.

It's close to the beach, but roads are very busy, so not quite walkable. Kind of strange that free Showtime is offered, but there's a lot of time loading. No free HBO.

Breakfast was great room was clean bed was comfy home run

The hotel was located in a quiet area 2 blocks off of the highway. The rooms were spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of both hot and cold items which were very enjoyable. I especially liked the cinnamon rolls. Price was reasonable and would recommend this hotel. We would stay here again.

The room was clean except for a few ants we found in the bed. Otherwise it was it met our needs. And the breakfast was fresh and filling and there was ample supply of it. Location is close to everything and It felt safe.

Only issue I had was that house keeping never came to our room despite us not putting the "Do not Disturb" tag on the door. I had to call the front desk for fresh towels.

Loved the breakfast; lots of options! Beds were super comfy. Close to the beach and other activities. The washers/dryers came in handy for washing our beach towels/clothes. Staff was very friendly.

Had to ask for towels and washcloths each day. Housekeeping never picked up dirty linens the 3 days we were there, so the dirty towels just piled up

The room was clean, decorated well, and the staff was friendly and professional. There was a good selection of breakfast foods to choose from, including a few healthy options like an egg white omelet.

Our bed had a big dip in the mattress that was uncomfortable. Fortunately, we could sleep in the other queen bed which was perfectly fine. The room had a slightly funny smell-maybe of an air conditioner that needed a good clean. Since it wasn't quite warm enough to swim, I wish this hotel had a hot tub to offer.

Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from. Great Coffee! I actually left my phone on the counter at check in and attendant picked it up in the drawer for safety.

We were there for an overnight concert visit. Really didn't use pool so I am not sure how that was. We had nothing to complain about. It was full of concert attendants and it was very quiet.
