It was mostly quiet, clean with a comfy bed, nice linen and new towels etc which were refreshed daily. The staff were helpful, and it was right down town as described. Great prices.

I was told at checkin in that the hotel is badly haunted, the ghost had even killed people in the basement and thrown guests out of windows. Not the best news to be given at ten o'clock arrival with nowhere else to go. Very freaky. The staff washing girls make way too much noise during the day which is disturbing. But all in all it was pretty good. I would recommend.

Unique property. The first room we checked into was not the room we had booked, however they fixed that issue the next day for us and discounted the room. It was very quiet and no one bothered us (we love that) We also saw a bear right outside of the back of the hotel- we thought that was pretty cool but beware.

The location can't be beat! You are right in the heart of downtown Juneau making it convenient to stop by the room to drop off items or take a quick nap. The staff was super friendly and helpful! I loved this historic hotel and would definitely stay there again!

It was loud the first night, but we were forewarned. It's an experience some may not appreciate, but we were fine with it. The morning weed smell is one I could do without though.

This room had an attached bathroom, on a previous stay the room did not (shared bathroom down the hall). Booked both rooms the same way so I have no clue if getting an attached bathroom is just random or what :-)

Bar noise is a bit too loud, too much amplification of bad-voice-karaoke male voices (while an amazing female voice had almost zero amplification, sigh)

This place was awesome! My husband & I love staying at historical places & this was awesome. It’s old & has an old timer feeling but it’s supposed to & that’s what we loved about it. It’s basically walking distance to everything unless you are trying to get to Mendenhall Glacier— you’ll have to take Lyft or taxi but otherwise we walked everywhere we went!

Honestly the only complaint is that they didn’t restock the toilet paper as needed & they don’t supply any conditioner.

Soo much character here! we splurged and got the suite and it was worth it!! the bar downstairs was special too.

the room had alllot of Cobb webs and the headboard was duuusstyy! also very limited staff. the bartender was also the the front desk person. room 332 phone did not work so had to call with cell phone.

I did not have breakfast here. Don't believe it was offered. The property is historical, over 100 years old, so I was not expecting the Ritz. My room had 2 twin beds, and a private bath. It was clean and comfortable. I booked knowing this property was historical, and had visited here in the past.

My room had a small kitchenette, but no utensils, not even a plastic cup. The hotel has a lively bar on the main floor. I was there on a Friday night, with a room On the 2nd floor above that bar. It was a bit noisy, but did not keep me from sleep. I was aware of the bar when I booked.

The front desk staff were able to give me an early check-in. The bed was comfortable and they provided thick towels, mat, and washcloths. The antique furniture in the room was lovely. The 'kitchenette' was a tiny all in one unit but was very handy.

There was no screen on the open window, and no way to lock the window closed, and the room was low enough that someone could access it. The door also appeared to have been the recipient of several bad lock retrofits and has no deadbolt. The carpet in the room was worn, grimy, and had a wet spot by the bed when I first entered. I had to climb on the nightstand in order to pull the curtain closed as it kept catching on the rod section.

Loved the history and the feel of staying in a place like this!! The staff was great as well. And the room very comfortable.

We happened to be there on karaoke night at the bar and usually I can sleep through anything but this was a little hard. Otherwise absolutely loved it!

Quaint turn of the century hotel upgraded to modern standards, but retaining much of that early 20th century feel. Very clean room with a great central location. Just step out the front door onto the main tourist street in downtown Juneau. The bar downstairs just adds to the ambiance

Not suitable for the handicapped, or those who have difficulty climbing stairs.
