Hampton Inn Kayenta Monument Valley

Room is very spacious. It is very quiet during the day and especially at night, so it is very convenient for sleeping. Hotel is refurbished in Navajo style but adapted to modern deco. It makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. Restaurant inside the hotel has an added value. Having dinner by the fireplace is priceless. Besides, food is awesome, very tasty and healthy. Breakfast is great. It combines both cold and warm options with top quality: lots of different types of bread, great coffee, scrambled eggs, burgers, oven fresh pastry, yogurt... Everything tasted so good! The hotel has a small souvenir shop where we bought a few things. Very useful for us.

No alcoholic drinks like a beer or a wine are served. They offer alternatives instead.

The first overall impression we had of the facility was cleanliness. The lobby and room were both clean. Access to the rooms from the parking was convenient. The breakfast was quite good with a good selection of items. The biscuits and gravy were a pleasant surprise, not spicy, but very tasty. The only slight complaint was some melon that wasn't quite up to the standard of the rest of the selections.

The room was pretty pricey, but that is the modern world. It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open for lunch, but dinner was okay and reasonably priced.

I booked a room for 5 people at a certain rate, however when arriving they said they couldnt fit the 5 of us in a room because of fire hazard rules. They needed to upgrade our room to the handicap room but didnt say that would be for a fee. They allowed us to book a room for 5 and did not deliver said room for 5 people, and charged us an additional fee of 20$ to fit the 5 of us. If the room I booked for 5 couldn't fit 5, it is the establishment's responsibility not to allow it to be booked for 5 people. I will ask for a reimbursement of the extra fee of 20$.

Breakfast was great, and the room was clean and updated. Had a mini fridge, and coffee. Coffee was also available throughout the day in the lobby which is also a bonus. FYI Masks are required inside the hotel. The cultural stop next door was great. Next door to a Sonic and Burger King. Grocery store within walking distance. The hotel lobby has a cute gift shop with cultural items. This is the best place in town, as the options are limited.

The breakfast was great, but I felt bad for the attendant. There were just too many people for one person to keep up with the food demand. He did a great job, but I think it's more of a management issue than his or the kitchen staff. He needed more help, it's not a job for one guy. The room was excessively expensive, we traveled all over Utah and Arizona and stayed in much better places for a lot less. The total charge was $255 for one night...Ouch! Also, when you book a room for 4, I would like to have the liens/bedding available in the room for the pull-out. BEWARE....clicking on the address on Booking.com took me 6 miles in the wrong direction. I put it in several times and it kept giving me the wrong location. NEEDS FIXED!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Kayenta Monument Valley. We stayed there twenty years ago on our first trip to Monument Valley. The lobby is beautifully decorated and evokes a comfortable feeling. The staff are all very friendly.

We did not like how short staffed the restaurant was. There were only two ladies working the two nights we ate there. They were overworked and stretched to their limits. The management must work to address this problem. We waited 90 minutes for our dinner because the kitchen was overworked and the wait staff had to work hard to accommodate everyone. We felt sorry to see such treatment and disregard for the welfare of the peoples working at the restaurant.

The breakfast was excellent! The dinner at the restaurant was exceptional! Our waitress Echo was fabulous. She was very busy and still managed to be very attentive. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Earl at the front desk. What a charming man! He was so helpful and accommodating! We will definitely stop here again even if we don't stay just to say "hi" to him. He definitely went above and beyond. This hotel is very lucky to have him!!

Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Great free breakfast with many choices. Restaurant has good food for dinner- there are not many options in town except for fast food. Short drive to Monument Valley. Best place to stay in Kayenta easily. Good value.

Free internet is slow in the evenings. There is an option to upgrade internet for $5 per day. Restaurant not open for lunch. No alcohol on the reservation.

This was a pleasant surprise! The facility was very clean, and decorated so nicely! The room was a good size and had a great view of the surrounding area. There is a grocery store and some restaurants within walking distance if you want to stay out of your vehicle after a long drive.

The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but it was much better than I've had at more expensive facilities in the past. The lobby and dining area were noticeably warm. We walked on from 80 degree weather outside to what felt like a warmer than that interior. This would have been great during the winter, but was a little stifling, especially with a mask on. The pool was not open, and it was not apparent why.

Great location for visiting Monument Valley. Really friendly staff - particularly welcoming at reception. Spacious room, clean and very comfortable. Nice restaurant for meals - not sure there are any other options in Kayenta apart from fast food outlets.

We were on the ground floor and could hear every footstep from the room above - very creaky! Despite this would happily stay again but perhaps on the top floor.

Very pretty ambience in Navajo style, very comfortable beds, very good bathroom, nice toiletries. Delicious breakfast; good choice of cooked dishes, fruit, pastries. Great choices of food for dinner. All staff polite, friendly and informative.

Our room had a sliding door to the bathroom which was not very private. Also there was a door to an adjoining room and we could hear the people next door. Unfortunately the water pipes made noise during the night so our sleep was interrupted a number of times. Otherwise we fully recommend this hotel.
