Kayenta Monument Valley Inn

Pool was great and clean, guest laundry, our room was much larger than expected with 2 bedrooms, nice bathroom with cupboard inside, good gym facilities. Housekeeping staff helpful.

When we arrived early, after a long drive, we asked if we were too early to check-in, we were rudely told "yes!" and the member of staff turned and walked away without another word!!! We then went off for a bit and came back and sat in reception to wait, the same member of staff then checked in a group who came in, completely ignoring us sitting there knowing we were waiting to check in!!! The reception staff extremely rude, did not seem to want to interact with people. Hand-written Signs up stating no use of the restrooms.

The ceilings and the walls were so cool—stone and wooden beams. The room was huge, really nice, so clean and fresh smelling. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked for what little needs I had. It was also very empty, so it was super quiet and still—so my dog was very quiet too and my baby slept the best he has slept the whole road trip! So glad.

There were only two pillows, and they were kind of stiff. The bathroom was hot if we shut the door. But ultimately, the lack of scenic view—of ANY view— was disappointing. With the name of “Monument Valley Inn” I thought the landmark would be closer—within eye sight—of the Monument Valley. I guess that’s my fault for not checking, but that was really lame. Just call it Kayenta Inn and be done.

The room was large and comfortable and as quiet as a tomb. No free breakfast, but they do have an onsite restaurant. We did not eat there, but they had a nice menu.

Staff was polite but a little dour. The pool was closed when we were there due to unexpected maintenance. Not much to the town of Kayenta. I think they roll up the sidewalks after dark.

We traveled with our pet. We had no issue. We used this option due to an issue with an airbnb at Monument Valley. It was the best decision. I was surprised of how clean and relaxed the hotel was. Check in and check out were smooth.

The price was a bit too high, but it was an emergency stay. We were glad they were able to receive us with our pet.

The property was I a good location we toured monument valley

The only negative was their was NO mention that the outdoor pools was not open. It was summer time a nice swim after a long day touring would’ve been awesome. The management said they were waiting on a part for the pool.

hotel is advertised as non smoking but our room smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. 4th hotel in a row that’s had this issue. really tired of it. DEEP CLEAN AND SANITIZE THE ROOM IF A GUEST BREAKS THE-RULES. IM A NON SMOKER- I expect my room to be smoke free if I’m promised it will be.

the rooms was clean and safe.the beds were firm and the pillows were soft. the hotel is right across the street from a food store that now has a starbucks and there;s a breakfast,lunch dinner cafe call the blue coffee pot. it was easy to jump on the main road. the hotel is is about a 20-30 mins from Monument Valley

i wish the room had was a small refrigerator

We liked the location, the confyness of the bed.

I think the price is expensive for what it is, but I think you pay the location. We did not like the amount of stray dogs around the motel

Clean modern room. Pool but I did not get to swim. Fajita dinner in restaurant was great.

For the price the hotel should come with breakfast. Parking lot needs better lighting. Dinner menu choices limited.

The location was probably the closest from the Monument Valley; otherwise, you need to stay at a hotel in the Monument Valley.

Hotel's WIFI was broken, and a credit card reader was also broken. And, the mask was still required when I visited in June 2022.
