The hosts were very hospitable and knowledgeable, the room was quirky, the patio contained many bird feeders attracting a range of birds which were lovely to watch and it was nice to be out of town at a quiet property with its own outdoor space. There is a communal fridge for guest use.

We've not stayed in B&B before and hadn't quite appreciated the communal aspects of meals etc. If you enjoy the social side of things, then this is somewhere that you'll feel at home.

This beautiful ranch Bed and Breakfast is located itself on 50 acres of prime habitat for the bird migrations. It was amazing to see so much diverse wildlife. It was within easy drives of so many bird sanctuaries, caves, biking and hiking trails. The owner was on site cooking every breakfast with his special recipes. They were divine! Thank you Tom! He also gave us directions to many sights, shared his knowledge of his many pristine antiques (if you are a history lover you will love the antiques in every room), and his extensive bird and plant knowledge. The main patio is gorgeously done in rock and overlooks the main grassy area with a very old tree with many types of bird nests. The beds were comfy, the kitchen in the casita had dishes and pans to cook, and everything was very clean. I would highly recommend this place for any nature lovers, families, lone travelers. I think it would meet everyone's needs.

That I had to leave.

Great location in the country. Beautiful setting. Creative breakfast. Good birdwatching. Extensive property. Interesting hosts.

Bedroom too small due to oversized bed. Window not usable. Inadequate ventilation. Not enough body wash/soap. Outside gate didn't close. Water feature in courtyard under construction. No hummingbirds. Main house: very dark and lots of antique stuff in living room that couldn't be seen very well.

Beautiful property with a lovely inn; the building was old (built in the 20’s!) but it’s very clearly kept in great condition; amenities were very nice, plenty of space to park (I had a boat/trailer with me), overall a wonderful experience.

I was here during monsoon season, and somehow some bugs got into the room one night. I don’t know how they got in but I imagine that’s not a common issue for them.

Breakfast was awesome. Any place that serves grits for breakfast is high on my scale, but when the grits are cooked with milk, apple juice, chipotle seasoning, cranberries with maple syrup added just before serving...that's an excellent breakfast right there. Add in eggs, bacon, etc. for good measure. Yes, breakfast was excellent. The Inn is about 3 miles outside Patagonia and just a few hundred yards are dirt road, the rest paved. No issues with our low to the ground car. The Inn is also about a quarter-mile from the Arizona Trail Segment 3 trailhead and that hike is pretty and only moderate difficulty. The 50+ acres is full of birds. My wife enjoyed feeding the horses and donkeys.

We enjoyed our stay and the quality/experience/facilities met the price and our expectations. We'll return.

Really lovely spot, with a special tree and wonderful hosts. The place has a bit of magic with a patio for bird watching, the sentinel tree and an historic Amish barn.

This is a rustic farm with a very laid back, genuine hosts. It’s not fancy, and the whole region has spotty reception / Wi-Fi. But if you love nature and are happy to get off the grid, this is the place for you.

Not a typical hotel, but everything was great. Travelling for birding we found large numbers around the property, and the owners conduct nightly visits to an Elf Owl nest which has been used for about ten years. Apparently the place is very popular among US birders.

Wi-fi a bit erratic due to location, but no problem to us. We had a problem with English credit cards but this is due to American banks not to the hotel. It might be wise to pre-pay if possible before leaving UK.

We loved the location of this property - right in National Forest overlooking mountains at every view and yet you are only a 10 minute drive to the town of Patagonia. It was perfect for us, a quick getaway away from the heat of Phoenix surrounded by the beauty of Patagonia. Tom makes the best healthy ingredient breakfasts ever to get you started for the day. The bed was so comfy, the pillows were awesome and our room felt very private. Mary Jane and Tom are great hosts - they have lots of information about the area and leave you to do your own thing.

If you are looking for fancy hotel stay - this isn't it. It's a lovely B and B.

My room and bed were very comfortable. I can't say enough complimentary things about the Spirit Tree. It exceeded my expectations! I hope to return for another visit. Note: The tree is amazing.
