The breakfast drop-off was so thoughtful, subtle, delicious and refreshing. Beautiful views and a thoughtful touch to decor and local points of interest. I'm obsessed with this town-- the history, the skies, the mountains, the friendly people. And that was all while I was trapped by Hurricane Hilary, so imagine how great it is when the roads *aren't* flooded! I was even able to extend my stay super last-minute without trouble over text. And what a great shower those rooms have! Wow.

Some ants found their way to my room due to the hurricane, but when I called the after-hours line, she moved me to a new room immediately (and remotely) without revoking access to my old room sonI could take my time moving. No hassle! And it is the desert.

The grounds are kept in order and nice location without children or pets.

The Hotel currently uses a third party site WiFi service that my phone deemed a security risk and would not allow me to log on. (since no password was required) Another guest using another carrier said same-so your reg cellular phone service will be very slow or not at all. When I returned home, I found a mystery charge of $30 from hotel to my credit card and so far it's been 48 hours of waiting for a reply to both my email and voice mail. Maybe ghosts are running this place. The last 2 times I've stayed here there were long black hairs in the bathroom & toilet room. Not the service I'd expect for this price.

room was beautiful -location and appearance was 1st class. Grounds and decor were impeccable. Quiet was lovely. Every single staff person was a delight and so, so helpful! Right from check in!!

Personal Safety!! Bathrooms all should have grab bars in the bathrooms- in shower and next to toilets. These an be easily purchased . Better HCP access to [pool area - at least extend 1 strip of cement to the pool entrance. Continental breakfast was really bad- store bought everything - no fresh juice, ( and here we are in citrrus captial)home made or bakery pastry or muffin , unripened fruit, tiny butter, no jam. It was a 3 on a scale of 10 -except for yogurt

The grounds and rooms are lovely. Great shower. Excellent location. We liked being able to have breakfast outside and to choose the time it was delivered.

We would have liked some choice in breakfast items. The only source of protein was flavored, sweetened yogurt which had too much sugar for my husband who is pre-diabetic. Plain yogurt would have been better and hard-boiled eggs. As we were at the inn two nights, we bought cheese at a local market. We also would have liked to have seen a PERSON. Check-in was on-line and the promised email instructions didn’t arrive until 2:00 PM--after my husband called. We didn’t want to leave home and make the two-hour drive until we had them. We were finally sent the room # and a code via email. I hope this is temporary because of COVID as we missed interaction with staff. It was also STRESSFUL as well as impersonal.

Very organized staff. For example the wifi wasn’t working upon arrival.. but in talking a 2 different staff members.. they got it working & they were very courteous in doing so! Layout of our room was great! and it's wonderful having the private little atrium too. Especially loved having the pool temperature be so warm… 90ish° - I’d guess. Made for a fantastic late night swim and star gazing! Simple breakfast was very nice and well thought out and presented with style. We will see you again soon!

Only coffee on the property is already in your room. (with your own little brewer) - But Im thinking there should be a bottle of bottled water in the room for making coffee. With a note of how important it is to use it for coffee, Because making the coffee with water from the tap - made the coffee taste horrible. - Over all not a big deal...

Gorgeous location in the desert. Stunning grounds. Beautiful rooms. Fun town with things to do. Stayed here as a 'rest day' on our bicycle tour through the desert and it was divine.

We had some trouble attempting to pre-arrange an early check in (we bicycled into town in the early morning expecting temps in the high 90s) because whoever was picking up the customer service line kept telling us to call back. It worked out alright in the end we were able to secure a noon check in with a $30 added charge.

I loved the tranquility of it all. This is an easy escape for us to enjoy a weekend with no itinerary, just relax and enjoy.

My only minut issue is the inaccessible access to staff on site when customers experience a technical issue trying to access their accommodations. The digital access is wonderful in keeping with the secluded private stay, however perhaps an emergency phone line could be visible and available when an issue arises in which a customer may need in person assistance.

Facilities are beautifully maintained and very clean. The stars at night are a big draw, as there is little light pollution, other than some parking and landscape lights. We can't get this at home! The complementary small breakfast was very nice, and there was a small selection of mini bar items for purchase in the room. This is a delightful place!

At no fault of the property, the pools had many small, swimming bugs called Water Boatman that occur each year during the summer, but usually in August, not July when we were there. That interfered with our enjoyment of the pools a bit, but the bugs are expected to be gone within a week or two. There's nothing that can be done to prevent this, as it affects all pools in the area, not just at the resort.

Love this adults only place. Everyone who works here is friendly, responsive, and professional. We can't really take advantage of their "Knock and Drop" breakfast because we're ethical vegans, but the breakfast was so nice: yogurt with granola, croissants, fruit, juice. But we were able to get just fruit and juice. Love this place. Perfect for stargazing out on the rooms' private patios. Quiet, relaxing, calm place.

Quiet desert setting and very quiet room. Bed and room were very comfortable. Light bkfst provided and delivered to the room each morning. Choice of two nice swimming pools to beat the desert heat.

Bed had half a dozen pillows, each thicker than the next. My personal preference is for a thinner pillow, and I would have liked some varied pillow sizes. Poolside furniture needs upgrading. For a desert setting, I was surprised that the hot water in the shower was barely warm, although the hot water in the sinks was fine. Must have been a problem with the shower valve in that particular room. TV reception is somewhat spotty with limited viewing options. Still, advantages outweigh any disadvantages. I'm already looking forward to a return trip in the fall.
