Green Gables Motel & Suites

I was super surprised how nice the rooms were! They look like they have been recently renovated and things looked clean and new. Instead of carpet, the flooring is wood-looking laminate, I think. That alone makes things feel cleaner. Exceeds expectations for a motel, for sure. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious (did not use the shower so cannot comment on that) and so was the walk-in (!) closet. I like that every room had a little covered porch area to sit at. Also appreciated the couple of picnic tables in the middle (there was also a bbq grill here I did not use). Main office has coffee and pastries that you can grab. Super convenient location for Burney Falls and Lassen Volcanic National Park.

We loved how clean and spacious the room was and the amenities it provided . The AC was a big plus. The office workers were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

Parking, Shower, bed frame and Toilet. Parking was tight , shower was small to move around in and we couldn't adjust showerhead for height or stream. Toilet was super low and the frame under the bed was too far out that when you got close to the bed your foot would hit the aluminum kick plate and bang loudly.

Although our room was fairly small, with the proper arrangement, we were comfortable. It was very clean, the furnishings and amenities have been updated and all worked properly. The beds were surprisingly comfortable.

One day out of four nights our room was not cleaned for some reason despite the "Maid" notice tag on our front door. The clerk on duty apologized and made sure it was cleaned the following day. Things happen...

Check in staff very friendly. Room was clean and cute. Mattress was comfortable. Walking distance to some stores.

Bed has metal wrapped box springs. Kept hitting it with my foot and it is noisy. Very odd choice for a bed. There is road noise but I think all the motels on 299 so they probably all have that issue. Recommend bringing ear plugs.

We ended up having to check in after their 10 pm posted closing time, and they were very accommodating to make our reservation! You have to call in advance, but they will work you. We were able to get a clean, safe bedroom, arriving around 12 am, after driving for more than 6 hours. We were VERY grateful for their accommodations and hospitality.

No clear Wifi, but to be fair we never made it over to the office to inquire

This motel changed my perception of motel. Not only was the room clean and comfortable, it has a rustic vibe to it that would beat hotel chains such as Hilton or Marriott in their game. The location is also central to Burney, a stone throw away from MacDonald's and the amazing steakhouse across the street!

Nothing else.

Location good for going to Burney Falls

Motel is perfectly situated close to Burney falls. Driving 13 min & you are @ the falls. Also, you are a walking distance from restaurants, gas station & grocery stores

The bed was not that comfy. The T.V was not working, but who needs a T.V in that wonderful place

Suite was very large, well equipped and compfy. Laundry machines and dryers were available at neighbour building (work with quarters, which are available at the office). Late check-in was possible. Would come again.

Nothing to complain about

The pet area was nice, off to the side of the property with areas to walk to as well just adjacent to the grassy area; small porch with chairs was nice in the morning and evening; flooringoffice staff were friendly and able to accommodate my needs; pets were welcomed with a doggy snack bag.

Parking area turn around was tight; shower stall in the Queen room was very small but water pressure was good
