The location was beautiful, at the base of the Sierra mountains. The motel was right on the road, but it was quiet, clean and we had a little cabin which was adorable. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and a fridge and microwave in the bathroom.
We were expecting breakfast, and unfortunately there was not only no breakfast at the facility, but also none in town. It had said that it was served during hiking season, but I guess Memorial Day weekend is not hiking season. It was not a cheap stay, so that was a bit of a bummer.

Sooo cute!!! Very cozy and clean-we had the room with the kitchenette and were here for a weekend getaway and visit to Manzanar National Historic Site. Very cold outside, but heater had been left on so when we arrived it was welcoming and warm inside. Owners are on-site, available and ready to help with anything! lovely trip overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Just an FYI: the hotel is on the 395 and you do hear a lot of traffic. It did die down during the night though.

Doug, Lauralyn, and Emmaleigh were wonderful hosts. They were all very friendly and helpful. Doug recommended some great hikes, which was a challenge because many of the trailheads were still closed due to the record snowfall in the Sierras this winter. The Mt Williamson Motel and Basecamp does an amazing job supporting the hiking community in the Eastern Sierras. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The location is great, we were traveling with two dogs and it was perfect place to stop for the day so the girls didn't have to be in the car all day.
I couldn't figure out how to turn off the outdoor holiday lights, I am a light sleeper and it would have been better for me to have the window area dark rather than lit up. I am sure this is a seasonal issue.

Such a sweet little honey vibe! Loved everything!!! Full kitchen and bath tub!! Only thing was there is a slow leak out of the tub, you need on of those rubber rings, I usually travel with one but forgot it! Other than that 5 stars!!!!!! Thank you we will be back! 🙏🙏🙏
Nothing!

We were really surprised by this beautiful renovated family motel (and pictures need to be updated as it looks much better than what is shown). Rooms are small, but you have everything needed; TV, fridge, microwave, electric water kettle, toiletries, teas and coffee choices... We stayed in a 2 Queen bedroom and we loved everything about it. Beds were comfortable and room was extremely clean. We loved that pets are welcomed (we didn't bring ours, but it is a huge +). Parking is available just in front of your little cabin, and if needed, there is a huge parcel next to the motel as well. Every cabin has it's own little "terrace" with chairs and table to enjoy a drink at night, or a coffee in the morning. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy breakfast as we really needed a night of sleep, but one of the owners was kind enough to offer us fresh fruit when he saw us later, having our coffee outside. I would really recommend this motel to any kind of traveler; lovers, families, hikers... A very pleasant place to enjoy and relax.
Maybe the AC could be replaced for a less noisy one :)

This was my second stay and I’ll be back again. It’s very clean and comfortable. Each little cabin is unique. The owners are helpful and friendly, as well. I didn’t have time to stay for breakfast, but I’ll do that next time. I’m sure it’s delicious.
There is nothing to dislike here.

Nice clean room, great to park right in front.
#2 was pretty close to the highway, trucks were noisy in the am (not really a problem as we're up early anyway :-)

Our cabin #4 was clean in the way a room which has ALWAYS been carefully taken care of is clean. It was sparsely yet efficiently furnished with essentials. Emmileigh could not have been nicer and more welcoming. The location is awesome, at the foot of the mountains. Alabama Hills is spectacular. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Nothing.

Loved everything. The decor, the people, the location. Such a personal touch and homey feeling. Super comfy. Breakfast was great. Simple, delicious and fresh; made to order. Served by our hosts. Great atmosphere; everyone talking to and enjoying each other.
Nothing could have been better. All excellent.
