The house was decorated in a fun spring decor, the yard and the flowers were blooming, and the neighborhood was lovely and felt very safe! We parked right in front and it was easy to use the code to get into the house. Our room and bathroom were spotless (as was the whole house), and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. Quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner products were available in the shower. There was a ceiling fan, and the windows could be open to provide fresh air. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the other guests at the breakfast table. We would definitely return here!

I really have no complaints. But one tiny suggestion. In our room's bathroom (top of the stairs, first door to the right), it would have been super helpful to have a sturdy hook on the wall on the right side of the sink. This would provide a spot to hang one's toiletry bag. Other than this, everything was perfect for us!

this was a lovely place to stay! I was on a very long Phoenix Arizona to Portland, Oregon road trip in a UHaul truck! The street parking was plentiful and she even let me park in her driveway overnight. I stayed in the downstairs room with the clawfoot bath tub. It also had a shower! What a treat after driving all day. It was an easy walk to the many lovely restaurants (and I even found a hair salon to get my hair done!). It was my first trip to Lodi and it was a beautiful place to stay!

I recently stayed at Poppy Sister Inn for two nights. Everything about this property was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious, the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean with a very comfy bed, the Wifi connection worked perfectly, and the hostess was so accommodating and friendly. Located in the heart of Lodi winetasting country, this facility was top notch, and I will plan to stay here again when I’m in the area. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here.

This is a great place to stay! Great location and great property! The Victorian home is beautiful with lots of character while providing all the comforts you would expect. Tricia is a wonderful host and chef. Her breakfasts are delicious and a great way to start the day. Tricia can help you with any information you need during your stay....restaurants, wineries to visit (the owners know her by name), fun places to walk to and much more. She loves the Lodi area and will make sure you have a great experience while visiting her friendly little city!!

Delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of downtown and numerous restaurants. Beautiful location with old, large trees and gorgeous old houses. Enjoyed talking with other guests at breakfast.

It was quite warm at night and we were a bit uncomfortable sleeping (we're used to cooler temps at night). There was a fan in the room, which helped. Air conditioning set higher than we'd like and we didn't realize it until quite late -- didn't know how to adjust it.

It's a lovely property, well-maintained, and short walking distance to shops and restaurants. Safe and quaint neighborhood of large old homes. Easy street parking. It was super-clean, and decorated very nicely. The host was kind and welcoming. It had a very convenient way for guests to come and go on their own. Great wifi and TV. Big fluffy towels. I want to give it 5 stars, and an exceptional rating - but I can't because I wasn't told there would be no breakfast. Only found out reading a review here, so am revising my rating upwards. Still disappointed, but now I understand.

This was advertised as a bed and breakfast with complete breakfast served. I booked and paid with that understanding. I received no notice that breakfast would not be served (due to Covid, I've later learned), nor did it say so in the online info, nor did the host tell me this. If breakfast isn't going to be part of the package, the price should be reduced.

The home and staff were exceptional We had an impromptu birthday drink and dessert when they heard it was my 50th and even allowed us to store our baggage while in town after our stay House could have been cooler but it was very hot outside and I like it cold when I sleep so that's just a preference for me Thank you for a great overnight stay.

The home is gorgeous. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Water was available for the entire stay. It is a short walk to lovely downtown area with shops, restaurants and wine tasting. It was a great experience and we would stay again.

I have no recommendations for improvement.

One of the best breakfasts ever!!! Thank you so much for the lovely company, amazing care and breakfast you made for us! Also that front garden is to die for :) I loved just spending half hour there for little autumn feels:) Everything was fantastic :) thank you! We will miss the inn so much xx. Especially how close it is to everything! Plus Tricia knows all the local places that she can recommend:)

Our room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed relaxing out on the porch. Tricia served a wonderful quiche and homemade cake and fruit for breakfast, as well as some oatmeal for my husband who doesn't eat eggs. A very pleasant stay!
