Best Western Plus Manhattan Beach Hotel

Excellent hotel! The room looked exactly like the pictures presented online and was exceptionally clean with plenty of bedding + towels available. The breakfast set up was excellent with a huge selection of hot and cold foods available. Huge thank you to Sergio at reception for being so patient and helpful!

The charge for parking seemed abit unneccesary

Friendly staff, clean gym with full set of weights and some cardio machines, sun room with lots of outdoor cushioned seating, fast and dependable wifi, quiet and clean, the room had a big window with natural lighting, and the room was spacious and was well worth the price as it included a big bed, a little kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and sink as well as a couch and desk for working. Staff let me stay in the sun room after checking out as I waited for my flight.

Everything was clean minus the TV remote which was dirty with food stains and and the little box holding the menu on the living room table had some sand in it. Breakfast services are closed completely (not even take-out containers) due to covid but this wasn't mentioned online anywhere (online actually says some hotel locations have to-go breakfast) which is misleading. Check out is 11am. But online also says late check out is available at no fee, and the person who checked me in said I could stay past 12pm; however the people at the desk in the morning said I had to check out at 12pm without an explanation even though the hotel was pretty empty.

nice location, good quality room and size, near shops, mall and restaurant's. we walked to the beach from the Motel. There was coffee and Tea all day in the lobby. The lobby was nicely decorated and you expect the overall quality from a Best Western and that is why we chose this hotel

the breakfast was not bad but could be better. All the items were from a ready to go format where you just have to heat up the food by non kitchen staff. The omlettes seemed to be premade and only heat up. Not made fresh on site

The people at the front desk were very accommodating.

I stayed 4 nights and was told the room would be cleaned after third night. The room was never cleaned and the sheets and towels were not replaced.

The property had recently been renovated, and was essentially new. The room designs provided lots of lighting, well laid out amenities, and a soothing color scheme. The breakfast buffet included fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and many other amenities, including several varieties of milk, juices, and coffees. Also, the property is located near the beach, and across the street from a bagel and coffee shop. It is closed to other restaurants and a grocery store. Perfect location.

there was nothing unsatisfactory about the property. It was absolutely perfect.

We were in transit and ended up in wait time for 7 hours. we were able to use the facilities and come and go during that time. The free breakfast was convenient for us.

Nothing but plastic plates cups and spoons and nothing in the unit at all to eat with or off (plates or cutlery) but we had a microwave and coffee maker and a couple of plastic cups. Makes you appreciate the fully stocked pantries and cupboards you get at AirBnB. I guess this is a thing in American motels and hotels that we haven’t seen in other countries.

We chose to at the Best Western Plus as they had a larger room which was great when travelling with our young daughter. The room was clean and the front desk staff were helpful whenever we had question. We also appreciated the breakfast, the dining area was always clean and food well stocked!

easy acces everywhere, hotel is 20 min nearby the ocean, all the space is clean . the breakfast is bery good. the beds and mattresses are comfortable the staff is kind and helpful

i booked a room with 2 queen beds, i receive a room with a queen bed and a extensible couch.... i was installed at room 119 with the windows to the street so the noise of the night was disturbing.if you can, avoid the room.

The room was very spacious and confortable, great for working (what I did) because there was an office chair. Also a microwave and mini fridge, what helps with saving money. Breakfast was great, with many different options, everything super fresh. And overall the hotel was super cute. Staff was very polite and helpful.

It`s not that I didn`t like but just a recommendation, keep in mind that LA is a very big city so everything is very far away. I chose this hotel because most of the time I`d be doing things that were near it, if that`s not your case, keep in mind that the hotel is very far from thinks such as the hollywood sign.

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. The under courtyard was the perfect place to meet up with friends before heading out. The staff went above and beyond and did a great job keeping everything clean. Access to the business center was a bonus.

Very poor mask compliance from fellow guests. Considering many guests are from other states and countries with different restrictions the hotel should have done a better job at enforcing compliance. Breakfast time was very stressful being surrounded by guests not suing the gloves or hand sanitizer provided. A large sign at the entrances to the breakfast area regarding masking rules would have been beneficial. Never saw one staff member enforcing it during my 11 night stay.
